Dungeon Leveling in SoD

1 dungeon locked per day, like in hc, would be perfect.
Boosts/Gdkp are classic killers.

Best thing im looking forward to. Trying to find low to mid level dungeons is a slog on era

Way more useful gold sinks is all we need. Sinks that cost 500-1k gold each that either give good buffs or other quality of life items.

Yeah sure, let’s give players/gold sellers one more/essential motive to RMT…

Inflation in WoW is a fact of life.

No reason I shouldn’t be able to sell my gold for game time just because someone else is buying it from an unofficial source.

There is always and incentive to sell gold but its another thing to have a feature to flush the gold out of the system instead of players holding 1mil gold on a realm account.

That’s only going to have an impact on people who buy gold, or run GDKPs to take gold from those who do. Those of us who play the game norrmally don’t need additional gold sinks.

These gold sinks are optional for regular players. There will be players who make these gold sink buffs required or meta for raids/dungeons but that is the same deal in Era with people kicking ret paly from raid or boomkins.

You’re effectively rewarding gold buying at that point. It’s also not going to make a difference, they’ll just buy more gold. All you’re doing is increasing demand.

Boomkins are welcome with their aura - especially in ez raids when casters want to parse.

Ret paladins can just spam flash kek. But really they should be considerate and pay the 50g to respect holy then go back ret after raid with the new shiny sword.

^^ that’s a built-in gold sink

You’re just tunnel visioned on bots/gold selling. Without that there will still be inflation over time.

If we had zero gold sinks the economy would be just as bad after 5 years of C+

Will this even be an issue?

The level caps themselves will be pretty much all the antiboosting measures we need until the last phase.

You’re drastically overstating the impact of inflation. RMT is what’s caused prices on our server to reach what they are now.

looooooooool.

What would increase demand far more than gold sinks is by lowering the vendor loot and raw gold drops from mobs. But that’d just hurt everyone all together.

What info is that? Discord of captain obvious? Lol

IMO that’s a terrible gold sink tho, as been proven ppl simply won’t respec as to not spend gold. It’s highly unreliable.

That’s a bad way to go about it. Better ways are things like increasing the AH cut %, postage costs, flight costs at 60, repair costs at 60, vendor costs for high level reagents etc etc

Subtle gold creeps you barely notice and will pay anyways which mass produced do take considerable gold out of the game.

It’s not hard to get into/look at botting discords and forums on a few sites to get this info…

Makes you wonder why blizz can’t do the same thing. I know why. Zero GM’s are allowed to do such a thing. They only have the power when something happens ingame. Not before. Just like cops IRL most of the time.

Im more memeing on you a little bit… its like… you dont need any special info to know boosts and such are gonna happen lol.

It was mostly a joke and in SoD it won’t really matter since more specs will be viable.

But in Era nearly everyone respects for PvE (except a few classes that can do both pve/pvp with a single spec). This holy paladin never has to respec, but my rogue has done it 4+ times per week when I attend lots of random raids.

It was actually a good balancing tool - the classes that have to use fully different specs in pve/pvp tend to be stronger in pve, whereas those that can do both are often more middle of the pack.
