So, this would be my first “complaint” feedback thread. I just want to share something that happened not once, not twice, but 3 times in the same Heroic dungeon of Remix between the first mini boss and the second (the wolf). I’ll keep it short.
1st healer (actually in a healing spec) - Disconnected after the 1st boss.
2nd “Healer” in Feral spec, threw 0 heals and barely any DPS wiping most of the group (vote kicked off the island after fighting)
3rd “Healer” in WindWalker spec, threw 0 heals and barely any DPS wiping most of the group (so I just left and took the debuff not even caring).
Had our levels, and infinite power been high enough to compensate, I would have had zero issue. But all of us were leveling our first character and most of us were under lvl 50. DPSing in your healing spec is great. Not healing in your DPS spec, or being in your Healing spec, is not.
Please stop ruining random runs because you are either too impatient for a DPS run, or not competent enough for a Tank/Healer run. Not everyone has a 10M IP DPS facepulling the runs, and some of us are relying on even just a tiny heal at the right moment. This is the first time I have had healer issues in a dungeon in more than 10 years, and got all 3 back to back. I hope it is not indicative of things to come. Otherwise this tank will max out their own way, and extricate himself from the tanking pool in Remix. Thanks.
Kind of shame considering remix is a great chance to level and learn a healing spec, plus instant queues. I started with a Holy Priest first, went from questing, to dungeons, to healing raids. its been a fun experience. Why are people doing this? idk, but that just makes for bad experiences for everyone, so sorry that happened to ya
I’ve been enjoying it immensely, and had 20/30 other dungeons leading up to this one. I was just floored when I went through so many healers in a 15-20 minute span because they were coming in as DPS. The Druid didn’t even try to hide it. 0 heals and stayed in cat form.
Trying to take advantage of faster queues, to put it simply. They’re likely hedging their bets on someone with 60 million HP filling one of the other slots so they don’t have to do anything, much less the role they signed up for.
Dungeon Queues need to force (EDIT: and lock) you into the spec you’ve queued-for. This happens in PvP it needs to happen in LFD. Unless you’re in a full group of 5, you should get forced into the spec you’re assigned in the dungeon.
Players want to level as many toons as possible. It is easier for them to que as heals because no one is actually healing in remix. they are getting instant ques.
There prot paladins queuing as healers because they don’t want to wait 4 min. It is that fast.
These issues are not that common in heroics. Maybe you are doing normal.
I think I would know if I was in a normal dungeon versus a heroic dungeon. I was deliberately running heroics with a friend because it was part of an infinite power quest given to us just a few minutes earlier.
Sometimes not contributing is just as valid as whatever help it is you think you’re providing here.
