You’ll have to point them out to me.
I’ve only seen tanks charging for Strat Live, because from what I understand, there is zero loot in there for them, and its annoying to tank on top of that.
I’ve been dragging guildies for free, along with my shaman on my second account. More people means lower avg level means more xp. At rested the shaman gets a level per hour. I’m going to do that instead, at least til my shaman and druid on the main account are level 40, then I’ll dual box tank healer and drag 3 dps who know they won’t be getting any heals between pulls.
I’ve heard of this other version where you can just sit in a queue until it’s your turn. There’s a thought.
Usually it is to level the alt up fast so it CAN play with the others
who are way ahead of it, not to simply play solo.
It must be servers. On both my servers, I have never seen this kind of run advertised.
A whole lot of people play differently than I play. Sometimes it is hard for a player to figure out where the line is between “an exploit” and “using the game rules to help you”.
We can’t rely on “what I am willing to do”, because each of us is different and it’s only Blizzard’s official position that matters.
I think mostly those players are getting carried to complete the quests, not for xp.
We have it, over where you and i live.
Not sure i would say tons, nor would i say that it is always or even mostly charged for.
I know you do not come to gnomer much, due to the neighborhood being kind of unfriendly for you, but it is one that i see people asking to by runs a lot, to finish quests, mostly because people hate gnomer and dont want to group for it.
Sometimes higher level people simply offer it for giggles and to help lower lever people with gear.
There is a level 60 alliance guy that offers, probably one a month, SM runs, all wings, free, for all healer toons.
Just healers. He just does it because he knows it can be hard leveling and questing a healer, so he helps them get some gear and silver and what not.
I am sure guilds probably do it a lot internally to speed alts up to instance/raid levels
Have not seen your hunter on, but then you are too big to be roaming the barrens anymore
Start a group. I still see groups forming for low level dungeons.
yeah, no. go play something else. your kind isn’t welcome here.
Then go farm gold. I farmed my way for both my mounts, and got a 100g spot on the epic mount from a guild mate, which will be paid back within a week or so with the amount of dungeons we run.
Glinda is chill. Leave Glinda alone.
I know this is going to come as a total shock… but…
Make some friends, join a guild, play with people you actually know…
Do some quests out in the world and if you can get a group together via people you actually know and play with; then go enjoy a dungeon together.
Foreign concept I know, but you’re playing an MMO-RPG, you have resources, you have the ability to make friends, why would you ever pug dungeons?
Now now, be nice Lucy, Him is ManSplainin to ya.

All these people playing together, coming up with solutions to their problems, getting what they want out of the game, the nerve of them.
I feel this wouldn’t be an issue if content wasn’t so undertuned and blitzed through.
I carry people for free. These people are just being scammers at this point.
I mostly just quest. It’s more reliable, and provides with income and flight points!
This ‘meta’ of paying for runs has pretty much ruined forming groups at lower levels.
All I see getting spammed endlessly in LFG channel is ‘Selling carry 3g FFA.’
I never remeber it being like this in vanilla but i suppose the gimme now era has taken over WoW
I was talking about this with my guild on discord. It is interesting to me that the player base, as a whole, finds it acceptable and has become the norm. I know there are folks, such as yourself, who find the practice undesirable… quite frankly, I don’t like it either, but the vast majority of people shrug, grind some gold, and jump on board.
As I said… it’s interesting…
Anyway, I’m just glad I caught the leveling curve when Classic was released and actually got to play the game
*Edit: I should point out, this isn’t Blizzard’s fault. This is something the player base just… accepts. There’s really nothing Blizzard can be done to fix it when players are willing to allow the dungeon market to be cornered by people selling runs.
Good thing I boosted nearly every class before people started crying over it
