A Ret’s job is to stay alive long enough for backup to get there and they are very, very damn good at that.

Yeah the baddies are on ally rn bc the horde have the good racials so yes this would happen. However if it had been even racials from the start in 04 it would be even

cuz devs play the faction and class. been asking for tweaks / nerfs since the start of phase 2. clearly the favored faction. let the devs keep running sod into the ground. if they pvpd on ally for more than 2 weeks in ab theyd understand they have a huge problem to fix.

A good hunter, spriest, rogue, and druid can be very difficult for a shaman in 1v1 lol.
Horde are always better than alliance…
except for some random unknown reason in wrath and cata where they get dumped on constantly, lose the majority of their bgs, and have the least slots above 2k in all forms of rated content.
Surely something is at play here… surely.

I was never a forum poster in the entire time I’ve played this game until phase 3, after they let enhance shaman stay unkillable gods for the entire duration of phase 2 just to further buff their healing and damage output after nerfing WotE enh meta and skyrocketing ele in phase 3.
faction imbalance has made pvp in this game more lopsided than any other iteration of WoW. even with the lack of p3 content, BG que times for horde would not be 40+ mins if PVP wasn’t hot garbage

I will agree that pvp in SOD has been the worst of all times. But people have short term memory loss cuz Vanilla is not that great neither. Its just more rock/paper/scissor like.
I’m holding out for phase 4 and I hope us beta testing SOD for these new devs will help them work towards a better classic+ or SoD2.
I have played tons of Vanilla PvP. This is by far the worst thing I have ever played probably. There is no counter play.

Boomkins beat who? Enh beats who? Ele beats who? Lock/Rogue/Mage/War/Hunter probably in that order reign supreme.
I played Hunter in vanilla becuase they hard counter rogues and nothing makes me happier then killing rogues out in the world.
A War has ZERO chance against a good mage. Even if they use Faps.
Rogues with all CDs are almost unbeatable.
Oh, and Alliance SP/Locks have it super tough cuz 90% of horde are UD.
Yeah, SOD pvp is bad but still fun at times. Classic Era is not too far behind.

Rogues deserve to be killed in the open world any time you see them out of stealth. even if you didn’t see them commit a heinous act on someone fighting 2 mobs, you 100% know they did it earlier that day.

I can kill lv60 rogues once I get scatter on my hunter. At lv40ish I was killing rogues and shamans ganking people in duskwoods. Nothing makes me laugh more then watching a Rogue use Fap against a hunter.
Protip Rogues: Scatter+Trap > Fap.
