For blizzard its top quality because it keeps rewards extended for longer by time gating, $$$$$$ is the only thing that drives design production. Taivan meta or shadowlands shadow drake meta are good examples of blizzard wasting as much player time as possible for wanted rewards to boost time played metrics that they show investors. In shadowlands it was the obvious no mount in the maw restriction, or the endless flights between zones to keep players online as long as possible. The covenant systems etc. All is made to appease the greed of our overlords creating these profitable wars

Not sure what the benefit of linking me the Loot-A-Rang does since the ducked up toy does not involve engineering.
All of my engineers can use the Loot-A-Rang.

Iāll never understand completionists play style. And iām happy about that. One of my āfriendsā would sometimes make remarks about how i play the game without getting everything, LOL. i never rub it in his face when his wife makes him stop playing to āsave his marriageā. This has happened about 4 times now. After about 3 years as a āgood boyā his wife lets him go back to wow, but it usually just lasts one year and he is forced to quit again.

I think Blizzard should have combined the mount and the toy as in a 1% drop rate Duck mount where, when RNG gods smile upon a player, they can pick one out of six different recolored mounts. Then offer the same next year. And the year after. And so on.
And, eventually, they could offer a pink bunny to the mix!
That way:
- the player still gets a choice
- the reward would be account-wide
- folks getting one, or even two, mounts would still be incentivized to continue doing it for the rest of the event as well as years in the future
- it would add six duck mounts to the game and finally lay that silly joke to rest
'Cause, personally, I think the duck toy is kinda stupid whereas a bunch of giant ducks flying around Stormwind and Orgrimmar showing off would be hilarious!
I started out being that person.
Then I realized there was no way I would be able to collect everything because (a) some things required a type of play I do not find fun, (b) some things required PvP which I was unwilling to learn, (c) some things could only be acquired by spending real life money which I wasnāt about to do, and especially not at those prices, and (d) some things were no longer in the game.
So I collect the items which involve play I find fun and leave the rest on the floor.
