Thing is, I don’t think it would “solve” the issue, but it might improve things to a better state than it is right now.
Like, let’s say 10% of a server’s pop is tanks and dual spec brings that number up to 15%. You’re still experiencing a “shortage” but at least you were better off than before.
Improving only slightly one facet of the game slightly completely ignores how it could potentially make worse the rest of the entire game that’s the whole argument from people who are not for dual specs that you continue to ignore. Again you need not look further than retail to see the end result of constantly making changes to simply improve single aspects of the game without consideration for the overall effect.

Thing is, not every interaction between folks is an argument. I know that you’d love for these interactions to be arguments, but I’ve already posted several instances indicating that the bulk of Zipzo’s responses come down to “I think” or “I prefer” or “I want.”
These are not arguments. They are a person just stating their own feelings and desires.
If you want me to acknowledge those feelings exist, I will gladly yield to that. Those feelings do, indeed, exist.

What is the purpose of pointing out that “dual spec is not in retail”, when you know very well and good that what retail has achieves the same purpose, and infact is basically functional identical to how dual spec worked even from an interface PoV. There’s actually more variables in retail that make tanking even easier to approach (universal stats). I’m just truly confused why you keep repeating this.
That’s why it’s a bad faith response, it achieves nothing and clarifies nothing. You’re just…saying stuff that adds nothing and isn’t even relevant.
