Yep I’m a troll, everyone who disagrees with you is a troll I presume?
No just you and a few others who constantly fabricate ‘evidence’ to support the idea at Merc mode or dual spec is somehow bad
For TBC it is.
I don’t believe those systems would be well received by the majority of people playing tbcc, I know for a fact that I don’t want them in the game.
Same could be said for you, you’ve provided nothing but anecdotal evidence thus far, yet you disregard others points just as they disregard yours.
The bottom line is that you are the one asking for the change; you are the one that must convince others/provide evidence, and you are the one that must be mature enough to handle the responses you get. You do none of those things. You just spew, whine, and insult.
Prove it…
Prove that it isn’t
You were aaccusing me of “anectodal”
Besides for the people who dont like the ideas, much like the same people who complain that flying ‘ruined’ immersion…Well flying is in the game but you dont have to fly youself. You dont like Dual Spec or Merc mode ?
Good news you dont have to use them
Dont need to Its in the game in every other iteration and is widly popular and was demanded even back in the original TBC which is why we got in LK. We just want it sooner now.
Again no problems other than people who just want to piss on good ideas
All of the evidence provided in this thread is anecdotal.
Dual spec impacts me, it impacts the economy, it removes a gold sink from the game.
How does it do that exactly, an i mean not just hurt feelings. does it mean you lose spells, or any such thing?
The economy is just fine and this is just more fear mongering that weve beeb hearing nsince pre-release when anti-boosters predicted that swarms of bots would devastate the economy
Which never happened.
At the cost of what?
Flying itself is a huge gold sink, levelling profession is a gold sink, getting enchants is a gold sink, repairs are a gold sink, getting raid mats for raid days are a gold sink
We’re just fine on the gold sinks in the game dude…
On top of all the arguments presented the strongest remains that dual specialization is not necessary… it isn’t impeding you from playing the game, and it not existing is a part of the game. It adds to the game by not existing.
If dual specialization existed I wouldn’t need to farm gold or engage in the world in order to make money in order to afford my respec costs.
This isn’t a response, it’s you comparing an unrelated prediction to something that has actual implications… people having more gold. You can’t deny that it’s literally a direct result of dual specialization existing
This is an opinion, one which implies changing the game to have less gold sinks.
Glad you decided to play TBC then. No, please, don’t go…
If you do not like this iteration of the game, do not play it. Stop asking for things to be changed in order to meet your needs. The game functions just fine without dual specialization, it is not necessary or needed, it is wanted… because people want more gold… which is in no way shape or form a justification for adding it.
If it wasnt necessary the never would have added to the game at all
But this is why they added it From Greg Street himself
From Wayback machine /20101107221842/http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/underdev/dualspec.html
I quote
"We really felt like this was a great way to increase the flexibility available to players and encourage them to take part in more aspects of the game. To use just one example, some players like to participate in both raids and Arenas, which is awesome behavior that we want to promote. But, there are some talents which are more useful in one part of the game than another. Currently, players have to pay respec costs and go through the process of setting up the desired talent spec and action bars whenever they switch. "
“The new system makes this a much more logical process, saving on time and cost and allowing players to easily move from one aspect of the game to another.”
And now we have retail. thanks GREG
The same can be said fo you dude
Flat answer…
No
Dont like what i propose dont look at it.
So play retail where the feature is included and stop trying to turn TBC into retail with less content.
I’m sure Greg has no regrets… so you linking him explaining why they are adding it in WotLk is supposed to convince me of what exactly???
Why not add Naxx (80) to the game? They added it in wrath! Why not add flying to vanilla? They came up with the idea in vanilla!
Wrath was th most popular iteration of the game ever and people even back in TBC wanted dual spec. This is just old thinking, they’ve already allowed changes in the game
Little late to get your knickers in a twist.
