Dual Spec.. please?

Hey you know I’m just saying lizard said they were taking feedback maybe we should start a dual speck post on there lol

What? Forgive me for saying that I trust you … If it’s any consolation I’m starting not to.

Of course. That actually goes without saying.

They’re all “real reasons”. They’re exactly what you asked me for - my reasons. You just don’t accept those reasons and that is perfectly fine and is your right. Maybe you’re right or maybe I am. But what you can’t claim, is that I have not given any reasons. That I’ve “avoided” giving reasons.

And yet here we are AGAIN discussing why my reasons aren’t good enough for you? Reasons I have given - AGAIN.

They are my opinion. I have never stated these reasons as proven objective facts. They are reasonable conclusions I have drawn (and given my reasons for) in the absence of concrete provable fact. This is not me avoiding proof by the way - it’s impossible to prove something with concrete examples when it has never existed. I can’t give you concrete proven examples of negative impacts of the dual spec feature on TBCC because it is not feature that has been present in or tested in TBCC. You’re asking me to prove with examples that fairies and dragons don’t exist.

So - I don’t have absolute proof of what I think will happen if the feature is added. Neither do you. If you require absolute proof and object I’ve fact from me then you should expect to live up to that same standard. Apply the same standard to yourself as you apply to me. Obviously you can do as you have done and refuse to on the basis that this is a petition and you feel no obligation to discuss anything with me or other community members - it’s Blizzard you’re trying to convince.

“I don’t agree” and “it’s not worthy of discussion” are not the same as “it doesn’t exist” and “you never gave a reason”.

Reasons were given, and you ignored them - you even now admit it. So, you didn’t like the reasons - fine. Or you didn’t deem them worthy of a response - also fine. But your own admission you know I have given reasons - albeit unsatisfactory ones in your eyes.

So, does this mean that you have been continually lying over and over when you protest that I am trying to be evasive by never presenting with reasons? I know you struggle a bit with deduction so I’ll answer that for you - yes, yes it does.

Probably the same dishonest reputation bashing you’re trying to pull off when you keep saying I contradict myself and then when asked to single out a contradiction you childishly respond “goldfish brain”.

“I don’t want Dual Spec because it doesn’t taste like chocolate!”

This is a reason given, just randomly came up with it off the top of my head.

If anyone said this, would you address it seriously or choose to ignore it?

It’s nuanced.

  1. I am against the addition of the WoTLK style of Dual Spec in TBCC - for reasons I’ve given many many times now.

  2. I think there is room for a compromise solution for Arena PVP - which I believe is a special case.

  3. Most importantly my view is not fixed in place, I am actually open to discussion. All of this is opinion on my part and on the part of those asking for the feature, which means I may be wrong and so might those who support the idea. That’s why we have discussions…

Edit: Where people are using tricks and not operating in good faith - I’ve called it out.

Yes, I know you have no argument so you have to tell me it is complicated to make up for the fact that you’re wrong and continually contradict yourself.

So, in your world view the only way not to contradict myself is to make absolute claims with absolute conviction and to ignore any other point of view? To never doubt my claims and to avoid any nuance. Wow - if this way of thinking is the norm no wonder the planets heading down the toilet.

The only way to not contradict yourself is not to hold two opposing points of view at the same time.

Very simple to pull off. You just need to make sure when you say stuff, you don’t say something else that is the opposite of that stuff you’ve already said.

The issue is your reason are based on vague notions of you just not liking it not actual in game problems with dual spec.

Where as on the other hand people have provided very tangible in game reasons dual spec would improve the game play experience. That aren’t just a vague we want dual spec.

I don’t - I hold multiple views on distinct and unconnected things.

Schizophrenia.

Might wanna check the mirror.

To which he’ll pronounce he isn’t against it but isn’t for it. Because “nuance.”

Up is up until he feels like it should be down. Because nuance.

Like Michael Jackson, right?

I love that song!

Can you tell me a way that I can demonstrate an actual concrete in-game problem with something when that thing is not actually in the game?

Honestly, why don’t you stick to your own standard. Give me an actual in-game example of where Dual Spec has given the benefits you claim it does in TBCC?

Ridiculous herring comments all of them.

And I am fine with this.

This is a discussion.

It’s those that treat it as an echo chamber and just insult and misrepresent the opposing arguments are the ones I call clowns.

No, my reply is that the thing being asked for isn’t possible. And that you can’t deliver on that request yourselves either.

Yes it is.

Added to the list of books you should read on logic and reasoning, you should also obtain a book on mental illness and Schizophrenia. Maybe then you wouldn’t think it’s such a cool joke to spew the term irrelevantly and insultingly at people in discussions you fail at.
