Explain the changes for the people at home
hybrid specs are now garbage thanks to being able to switch between 2 perfectly optimized specs at any time, for one thing some of us liked making unique, hybrid specs for both PvE and PvP. doing that now is just gimping your character for no good reason.
You were always gimping your character in a hybrid spec.

because before changing specs was inconvenient, meaning a hybrid spec that could do both PvE and PvP was valuable… now there is no excuse for doing such a thing. the meta has changed, for the more retail.

hybrid specs were valuable in a monospec world because changing specs was prohibitively inconvenient. if it wasn’t, you wouldn’t have whined begging for dual spec for months.

not at doing the thing a pure spec is doing, no… that’s what makes it a hybrid spec but it is overall better because your character can do well enough in both PvP and PvE without respeccing. now there’s no point in thinking about any of that stuff because at the click of a button you can specialize in whatever the heck you are currently doing, which is PURE RETAIL MENTALITY. you don’t understand or appreciate it because you are a retail player. simple as
