Even after being told the definition as the rest of humanity defines it you insist on your own definition of it. No point in conversing with someone like that so good luck to you out there.
Seven effing days ago it was MENTIONED, not “addressed” unless you use that term for both I guess. 100% unacceptable.
“to give attention to or deal with a matter or problem” ← Cambridge dictionary. All of humanity, eh?
What active steps to deal with it? None. A fix has not been attempted or deployed.
Stop taking their side.
Clearly there are 2 accurate definitions to “address”, maybe I wasn’t clear enough, even though I used the CORRECT LANGUAGE that ALL of humanity can understand.
4 more days and nothing.
Sorry let me dumb that down for you.
Everyone who’s not poorly educated.
The other form of addressed would mean write the name and address of the intended recipient. Is that what you meant then? Angry that a letter didn’t have your name on it? Just because someone can interpret what you’re saying doesn’t make what was said any less wrong.
Because the issue is very inconsistent. Some people get it, others don’t. Blizzard can’t fix an issue they can’t isolate or reproduce.
Since there was a similar issue that happened previously, have the affected people tried running a scan/repair? There was a similar issue to this back in SL, that turned out to be client specific, and caused by some bad hotfix data that was supposed to be removed, but wasn’t.
I’m not arguing that. But there is a solution to be used until they actually get around to fixing it, so throwing your hands up and screaming “100% unplayable” is just being ridiculous
I call it a ‘temporary bandaid’ until Blizz finally gets to it.
Not unplayable IMO, but definitely irritating, especially when multiple raiders get it in the last hour of raid night.
Not if it doesn’t effing work with 100% effectiveness. If I try this “fix” 86 times in a row, and OTHERS to no avail, that is literally 100% unplayable. Dent. Head.
You’re right?
Did they reinstall the game?
Did they make sure their microwave wasn’t on?
Did they make sure their monitor was on?
Is their PC plugged in?
Clearly, when there’s an issue with the game that Blizzard hasn’t fixed yet, some longer than others (AH API I’m looking at YOU) it becomes a customer’s problem directly, and if we don’t use some half-baked workaround that doesn’t always work, and people in the raid are spending upwards of their 2-3 hours of raid time they actually have for the week trying to make the game work, then WE are the issue, not Blizzard.
Lots of dents… everywhere.
Exactly this! It’s absolute NONSENSE. We spent our last 2.5 hours on Sunday night with 6 out of our 10 people trying EVERYTHING to get the crap to go away, no dice. Ended the night with 3 of them saying and I quote “Welp, I guess this has become the MoP waiting room”
So far I haven’t had to deal with this yet thank gosh, but several of my guildies have. It’s interesting that Blizz can’t figure out what’s causing it.
