Drust + Kul Tiran Druidism

It really goes to show how half baked BFA was, there were way too many things in the expansion that none of them were really done the proper justice.

Oof, Iā€™ve obviously been working too much because this thread completely passed me by.

Iā€™ll try to engage it tomorrow when Iā€™m not slammed with work.

This is the Blizzardā€™s approach to world-building.

They only build whatā€™s needed for raids and quests.

This is both true and untrue.
Thereā€™s plenty of worldbuilding outside of this, itā€™s just the nature of MMOā€™s to run into this problem I guess.

Itā€™s just compounded by other issues, a hesitance to touch up or expand on older lore in favor of completely reshaping it into a form that they need for the moment for example.

One of the big ones for me was the fact that both the Kul Tiran and Zandalari fleets were like instantly wiped out making the entire reason we went to both nationā€™s entirely irrelevant. Iā€™m still very disappointed we didnt get some cinematic or multiple cinematics of naval battles between the 2. I would have preferred that over 57 Sadfang cinematics.

Wild Gods are exclusively elevated animals and monsters.

would be cool if the Drust and thus Thornspeakers call their Wild God + Powerful Ancestors the Ayshi (from Aos si of course) so they, similar to Trolls, and unique among Alliance, call upon both Wild Gods and Powerful Ancestors for their druidry and shamanism

cross faction wild gods are probably plants by nature into the realms of the other forces imo. Like bwomsomdi is a loa/wild god but also one of death. It also just kind of goes along with the whole scheming thing they do in the back ground with the cosmology stuff

Kul Tirans being big is a matter of inclusivity and has no lore implication

Who were they trying to include lmao? Their marginalized playerbase of ten foot tall people?

? Fatter people

But this was in regards to them being big was related to their Drust heritage, given that they tower over even Draenei. I donā€™t think anyone assumed them being fat was because of that.

Theyā€™re big in every regard and everyone attributed it to them being mixed Drust

Iā€™m not sure if I follow them being horizontally big as being attributed to Drust, if it was that doesnā€™t make much sense. The Drust arenā€™t fat, nor are the Vykrul.

I wonder if the regular Drust might resemble Freya in appearance. Also, if there is an Emerald Dream patch, the Drust raid could show up there. The Gnolls have to have learned Rot magic from somewhere.
