You seem to be trying really hard to ignore the situation.
and this original post was a troll post, you realize that right?

Of course, not a good troll post, which is why I point out how inaccurate it is.
If you have to shear off 80% of what a class is to make it “similar”, then I think the situation explains itself…
So with vanilla, the bear was not meant to emulate a warrior?
the cat was not meant to emulate the rogue?
the boomy not meant to emulate casters in general?
for 3 expansions they were top of the list according to any spec.
This game is not based on druids, there are other more important classes to give a perfect balance.
As long as you nerf them to the max, it’s enough to give other classes a chance.
which three?
Druids should be unplayable trash, so itll match the people who play them
I mean; they don’t exactly dual wield, or slam shields into people, or throw weapons at them… admittedly Warriors are a somewhat basic class if you think about it… all brute force/self heals, just about any melee is going to be somewhat likened.
Why Rogue specifically? Hunters also use: stealth, CCs, and bleeds…
We are talking Mages, not casters in general, and no, I’d say not as casters tend to do more than just cast… like summon pets and polymorph people… also usually have shields.
anyone, anyone, it’s not necessary, put mastery in YOURS BUTTS, and he’ll see how his spec works, I’m not interested.
The Druid is fine as it is, nerfed or not, it doesn’t matter, the class has a lot of interest now, and that’s a bit of a bummer when WoWhead only showed the talents of this class.
I don’t know what you’re saying, and i don’t think you answered my question… or maybe you did, I really don’t know.
This is taken from an archived wow site.
“In Bear form the Druid becomes a Warrior with Rage.
While in Cat form the Druid becomes a Rogue with Energy and stealth.
The Druid can also transform into two other special animal forms.
With its ability to heal itself and fellow characters, the Druid can also take on the role of a Priest.”
but it’s there, you don’t need to give you more information, WoWhead showed first ALL THE TALENTS of the druid according to his spec, you don’t need to defend him by ignoring me like every troll like you does.
The Druid is there in Dragonflight, he doesn’t need nerfs or buffs, just get on and mastery and you’re all OP in the game, like pvp or pve.
Yeah um, those are some pretty BASIC descriptions of each class, not really proving anything… Hunters also have stealth and Monks also use energy…
The developers likened the different forms to those respective classes.
And again, the op referenced when the class was made… info from over a decade ago. hunters did not use stealth on release. and monks… weren’t monks on release.
AND AGAIN. the op was trolling.
What exactly were they seeing as they released specifically for MoP?
So basically the idea that they’re class X, Y, Z is invalid along with this thread? Glad that’s clarified.
it seems like that really really matters to you, so yeah. its all invalid.
Ma’am (or sir), you are the one defending the thread’s idea, not I… I simply couldn’t care less…
You commented many times. You could very much care less
It’s a discussion forum, I am here to discuss, number of comments does not=care.
so you want every class in 1, but you’re also a furry? c’mon druids
Whatever helps you sleep at night.
Its still a fact that the original druids gameplay was modeled off of other classes.
Somehow you really want to dispute that.
