could the drust be the link that is needed between the druid magic of renewal and the cure for undeath? in our real world of earth, fungus plays a pivotal role in the decay and rejuvenation of dead organic matter. marasmius, one of the best new lore characters introduced in shadowlands, is a giant talking mushroom. could he be the answer to sylvanas and the forsaken’s plight? fungi are amazing organisms capable of total renewal. the kicker? undead druids become a thing, and team up with the cenarion circle to heal undercity and teldrassil with fungus magic.

I don’t know that we need Undead Druids. But I do like the concept that Druids pick up on the cyclical pattern of nature. That said I think Druids are currently WAY overloaded and should be broken up as a monopoly.
