hmm if only there was a race for that…
So you want a Werebear? That’s already a thing. We got it in Legion.
Considering she was causing a mass slaughter at Tendrassil, we can assume she already met with the Jailer and intended the dead night elves to be sent into the maw and feed the Jailer’s powers.
I would call that, in the middle of here quest chain.
most quests don’t give you massive power boosts until at least half way in.
How long did it take to get the Dadgar ring to a power level that had a noticeable impact?
Umm… just a friendly reminder the basis for Druids in games like WoW and Diablo is from back in the D & D days.
You know, like before home consoles were really even a thing?
I wish there was more diversity in appearances. Like Worgen turning into cats makes no sense. They should def be some sort of werewolf style look. Which frankly would be badass.
If you want to play as a druid that can shapeshift into a werewolf, Diablo 2 is waiting for you.
All this talk about D&D. Beorn wants to know your location.
Correct me if I’m wrong, “worgen” form are original Pack Form altered by Elune no?
When they do the Scythe of Elune and Goldrinn’s fang ritual which turned Ralaar Fangfire into a worgen and he starts calling himself Alpha Prime or something???(?)
Was playing one, got permakilled before level 4 or some thing (a series of 1’s saw him impaled in a harpoon) but my aim was to tank as an orca or a shark or something. Or a giant squid? Anyway.
If we go by the short wiki statement:
[Ralaar Fangfire] would become their leader and through his efforts to control and master this untameable form, created the first [worgen]
With the help of the embittered Belysra, the two constructed the [Scythe of Elune]. With its power, the druids hoped to master the pack form.
Yet instead of mastering the Pack Form, the Druids of the Scythe were transformed into the [worgen]. The worgen were mad and considered their transformation the "purest" embodiment of nature. When the worgen battled the [satyrs], they tore through friend and foe alike and spread their curse to other night elves.
Elune had nothing to do with it, her scythe did.
I forgot where but I read that they didn’t attack the night elfs until Malfurion called them abominations, did they really attack night elfs without any reason? Ralaar Fangfire seems sane enough to form a cult among Gilneans, and they have been recruiting anyone who volunteered to accept the curse (gift) for years before they go and bite everyone because the Alpha Prime was running out of time due to Forsaken’s invasion.
No source.
Tbh I just want snake and spider forms cuz I’m jelly of druids of the fang in that dungeon with snakes forms
Play worgen druid then.
Worgen are cursed by Druidic magic. Worgen is the werewolf form for Druids.
Someone been playin’ too much ESO
Malfurion called them monstrosities, and Ralaar lead them to rebel against the kaldorei out of revenge, that is in Curse of the Worgen issue 3. On the world of warcraft website and in chronicle, the whole comic series is glazed over in one sentence, making it seem like they were mindless. In Gilneas, his wolf cult grew in number, and they attacked the city en masse, likely running out of time because the kaldorei showed up to try and banish him again. Their goal being to march on Darnassus for revenge on Malfurion, revealed in issue 5.
just play a worgen or use werecat glyph for feral or the werebear form for gaurdian
Oh wow, I got it all wrong haha. Thanks for clarifying for me.
But there’s already worgen. However I do agree werewolf form in diablo is amazing
mostly right!
