I dont care about dps frankly, I play feral because itās interesting to play and not some braindead 2 button class like assassination rogue is. Bearweaving made things interesting.

I think itās even worse. I donāt think this was motivated by class favoritism, at least you could justify that as having a directed intent. This just seems like the Classic dev team is asleep at the wheel.

preach brother, it was nice to have better dps output this last week, but tbh bearweaving rotation was much more engaging and fun.

No thanks when Iām in cat form I like actually using cat form abilities, not switching to bear to fill dead time while energy is pooling.

You already know the answer to that.
They maybe have one person trying to balance classes against a target training dummy for about 3 minutes and calling it good.

And thatās your preference and I respect it! But I just cant sit here and wait for energy while twiddling my thumbs. I powershifted for too long to wait around half my time.

You have to remember this is the class that spent their entire classic existance in a level 30 dungeon for a mace. Not just āaā mace, but 50-60 of them per raid per weekā¦
Also the class that had to carry 2000x potions every raid just to get some energy back.
Druids (esp ferals) are masochists through and through 100%

Can you imagine how thankless this position would be in classic? you legit have no real job and then suddenly itās just you doing this with nothing and no support to prop you up.
Not sympathetic for blizzard, just feel it for the one hypothetical guy in charge of classic balancing now lmao, Iād phone that job in for sure.

With the change to FFF Iām finding I have no time to power shift anyways, thereās no waiting for energy when you have a free attack every 6 seconds

I played druid originally in vanilla, thereās a reason i played a lock in vanilla classic and mostly tanked in TBC
Im trying to think if i have ever seen a boomkin fish for omen procs with gift of the wildā¦ canāt say I have.
Feral has been my main in vanilla and tbc, but was swapped to pvp character this expac due to not enjoying bearweaving.
Gets excited and rerolls favorite wow spec feral as my main to get HM25 loot for pvp.
Gets nerfed in pvp.

Yeah i can promise you farming Gnomergon 200 times a week like our feral did was hardly fun.
But you were likely a casual and brought and used them just on bosses if that.
Our feral used them on CD. and put a counter weight on each one.
Neither was the potions. Literally why you all begged for it to be changed for months before it finally was lol
While this may be true about literally any other class/spec, itās not for feral. Even without bear-weaving, itās more interesting than most other classes, but bear-weaving put it a cut above. It was actually more engaging than most (if not all) retail rotationsā¦ which says a lot.
It was an outlierā¦ but in a very good way.

We went from pressing 10buttons to pressing like 4-5 and mostly shred and ff kek, it just feels like every other class now, if you wonna stay in one form and press 2buttons you might as well just roll a rogue, bearweaving and ācomplexā rotation was fun and prolly the main reason most of us played the class on top of that nerf in pvp is pretty undeserved if you look at other class scaling and tankingā¦well thats one big joke now.

You are just spraying from the hip and players are paying the price.
We play classic to specifically to avoid this gross, kneejerk incompetence that modern Blizzard consistently provides.
Stop. Stop even trying. Leave the game alone. You havenāt had a good idea in more than a decade that didnt come from someone outside the company. Nothing in classic needs your āexpertā tuning. Release it as it was. Thats all we want. Once Lich King is dead 90% of us are going to wash our hands of Blizzard anyway. We dont want your attention.
TLDR: tune the game with the same care and devotion you show to classic support tickets. Crickets.
