That won’t matter for them anyway they’re not getting a class leggo. It also just occurred to me that mages and priests wont be able to use it so druids aren’t missing out. Ya we get it you wanna play with one on your druid main but who knows they might add one later so look to that. either way it doesn’t matter.
It’s tied or not, at least druids just can’t equip axes.
ngl my head understands the explanation that it’s because it’s Fyrakk’s weapon but my heart doesn’t want to accept that we’re getting a 2H axe leggo in a Druid-themed season.

They obviously werent thinking at all during any point of any of this.
Best not look at it that way for anyone’s sake. Think of it as they do back in the old days with the legendries not necessarily having anything to do with the theme of the expansion/patch but rather major relevant plot points within.

ACK the poor tree isnʻt even grown and now every druid is gonna be snapping branches off of it!
But everyone knows even the toughest Druids are weak to giant axes to the back. Makes sense to me.
They can still possibly make a slight change and make it a polearm instead. A polearm has the ability to be versatile and is used by more classes.
I would’ve played more on it being a halberd than an axe. Axe (long looking) > Halberd > Polearm.
Either way I feel like the weapon is off for the theme. I was just trying to think of a simple solution that would benefit more classes and overall get more engagement from players. If it looks awesome enough. 
I thought this was a very interesting idea. That would’ve fit with the theme more.

Its a drop legendary, why would an enemy raiding a druid sanctum drop something sacred to druids?
He stole it from them while doing that raiding thing. Like what we do.
In all fairness, you probably won’t see too much of this considering you’re going to see even more plate players chasing the FOTM and doing content as their “main”…this is going to be intensified if the legendary ends up being amazing and thus a defacto “mandatory requirement” for every pug key in existence.
Lmao this whole thing makes me want to tmog my Warrior so I can run around the Emerald Dream as a lumberjack. Never cared about overly green zones and the holier-than-thou Nelves.
We literally went to the shadowlands, and met the guy who made frostmourne. No legendary then.
Just because your spec is the main class featured in a tier does not mean you get a legendary.
The last legendary weapon str people got was wrath. The last Druid lego was cata. Who knows, maybe it won’t even be that strong. Lots of strong weapons with bonus effects have been datamined.
According to what was data mined they are getting new travel forms, cat forms, bear forms, etc.
