Druid Powershifting Energy Issue

In WOW TBC Classic there is bug wherein Feral Druids are not receiving full energy when “powershifting.” As a work around the druid must make some change to their regeneration, this can be done by drinking a Weak Troll’s Blood Potion and then subsequently canceling the buff.

This must be a bug as there is no way the dev team could think that is an appropriate play style for feral energy generation.

there is an amazing lengthy thread on this issue here for those who aren’t aware. Blizz recanted on the “not a bug” list for warrior bloodthirst scaling, so I am holding out hope here that there is room for a change. my understanding is that a change made for BT/Hyjal caused this new behavior and that it didn’t exist from launch through SSC/TK. Given the logic supporting the change is flawed and inconsistent as highlighted by the post linked above, I believe at least a detailed blue post is warranted on this topic as to the decision being made. Clearly using a low level consumable at the rate of one every four seconds is not intended.

We need a response on this from a blue. The current state of feral is unacceptable.

I dont think blizzard likes powershifting as a gameplay option. I doubt this ever gets “fixed”. Personally, I hate powershifting, I also hated the idea of farming the manual crowd pummeler. SO not every druids on board

My druid plays just fine.

Why do they have all those talents and set bonuses and and items for powershifting then? Clearly Druids were not meant to powershift? So Blizzards solution is to just make druids bad again? TBC was supposed to finally give feral some love. Original TBC druids were actually"overpowered" at launch(people complained they were finally good). We are already receiving the later NERFED version of TBC druid. Now they want to kill the class even more? I don’t get it.
