With skyriding active, when you pop out of travelform in the water into bird form, you can’t take off, you turn to bird and no matter how fast you hit space of skyward descent you fall into the water, turn back into a fish, and get “you must be in midair to use this ability”. Once that’s happened it’s bugged for that transform, even if you swim to land, so you’re on the ground in bird form, same error, “you can only do this while midair”, although shifting to night elf then back to bird seems to clear that part. It means we get totally stuck in water, please fix it!

Also having this issue oddly its only on one of my 2 druids that its an issue
Has anyone found a fix? Jesus Christ is this annoying! 
Still bugged, with both steady and skyriding.
When exiting the water you enter flight form but fall back into the water and re-enter aquatic form being able to take flight.
Walking out of the water with skyriding mode active while in aquatic form causes skyriding mode to instead function as steady mode even though skyriding abilities and energy will be shown. Leaving and re-entering flight form corrects this issue.
