Oof. Right in the feels. ![]()
I do that in Live on Mages and Priests! Sheesh, no recognition…
people did spread buffs on ND horde side from what i saw, especially if you had one to give them
i still got lots of buffs on my rogue too
Drive by buffing as you call it has been a thing as long as I can remember in MMOs. I remember in the EQ beta (Yes I know i just dated myself) people would randomly buff others they saw out and about sometimes even with buffs that were expensive. Heck I as a paladin would sometimes stop on my way to my groups camp to buff an entire other camp with buffs.
Why not? If its free and they don’t already have a better buff, I do it just to be friendly.
Always get excited to see a player out in the field and be like OHH OHHHHH!!! Feral Druid, I’ll give you Blessing of Might! Ohhhh!! OHHHH!!! Look over there, another Paladin with Blessing of Might, I’ll give you Blessing of Wisdom on top of that!
I loved doing that back in the day
Warchiefs blessing is better than all of your buffs #hordeisbetter
Mate, we do get something better than paly buffs.
They’re called Shaman.
I’m always randomly passing out health stones
The Hero Azeroth Needs…
On the Pserver I played on, everyone buffed randoms when you saw eachother. It was pretty rare that someone didn’t buff me when they ran past me.
I have recently played on private servers, and I see people buffing random players passing by all the time.
Unfortunately if we are not the shaman, we can take the totem with us. But I prefer to look at it this way. We don’t need them as much as they do. alliance is soft. Horde is bold.
What is given to them, we take. What they boast of, we grin. A victor gives no quarter to the weak and subordinate. Alliance is in for a very rude awakening come this Fall for its not the quantity but the quality.
So paladins take that kings and put it somewhere warm as you ride around on your unicorn.
Projecting much?
You see, the unicorn represents something you truly crave and yet is unattainable.
Like anything remotely close to the universal utility of a single Paladin buff.
if you played stresstest, you would already have seen it happen a lot.
that being said, it is usually way more popular on low levels. but i guess the throw a buff mostlikely will encourage the buff back.
(prealms vs retailrealms, reputation matters and retail costs money. prealms are free. player rep will literally cost you $ if you are not careful)
I’m not sure what you’re talking about, my experience lots of people gave me buffs. You’re hearing the wrong things.
You gotta admit, though, that a 5-minute drive-by buff is not really that much to brag about.
I lol’d ![]()
I’m playing a warlock, don’t think I have anything in the way of drive by buffs.
i r selfish lols
Depends on the server. On my current pserver people buff like crazy. I was on a TBC server where the horde side couldn’t be bothered but the alliance would every single time.
During the stress test I played a priest, and completely spaced on buffing fort on all and sundry until I got a few pally buffs. (facepalm) It’s just been so long since it really mattered!
