The current rating brackets for obtaining crests are fair. The amount of crests earned is not. I get 12 from timing a dungeon in 30 minutes. Takes way longer to get the same amount in PvP.

I don’t mind the change to consolidate upgrade currencies, however, I should be able to upgrade my PvP gear in the same amount of time as I was able to before with honor, and that is not even close to being the case right now.

Blizzards equation between m+ level and arena rating will never not be hilarious for rewards

Spam running DHT 16 for 12 crests compared to 3 from a 2100 win :woozy_face:

what are they used for? is it a pve thing?

60 let you add them to a work order to increase the item lvl of a crafted item to 486 or upgrading a hero tier item at 15 per lvl

If you really want to min max stats, you can get some better stated items like weapons

They’re used for upgrading the PvE stats on your gear.

When you get ilvl 450 gear in all your slots, you unlock the ability to convert them into the next level of crests.

At a rate of 6 Whelpling crests to 1 Drake crest.

The next level of upgrade unlocks at ilvl 463, and the final at 476.

Who are you to say what we do and dont deserve. Previous upgrade allowed us to go high without the slog of a farm we have now. There is no benefit to current upgrading system. It only helps pvers and absolutely ruins the upgrade path for pvp players.

They are trying to standardize gear.

Also, it’s nice being able to finally get useful crests from PvP content that I can use in PvE content.

It’s an overall win if you play all pillars of the game

If you are say an rdruid who wears a ton of mast haste and little vers, it’s very rewarding to be pveing and crafting 486 weapons, and getting 489 mythic pieces

Not really, I never have enough to upgrade my pvp gear anymore. PvP gear has no rank on it anymore, etc. Gearing is worse this season than last, even the wpvp gear you could upgrade before you have to save up and BUY. Worse in every way.

yup i use them for LFR, vers is a great tank stat btw
