After taking off my drake began flying in a straight line and im unable to control it, when i do that i get DCed. When i log back its the same, turning into a DC loop. Now i cant even log in anymore…
happened to me just today in a 14 noc mythic plus. bricked the key because of this bug.
I can confirm this has happened to me as well. No where near a wall or anything. Was also flying in Nokhud when it happened to me in an m+
This just started happening to me this morning. Lose mouse control and DC a few seconds later.
Happens to me often, I know as soon as I can’t turn my drake that once I land I will DC. Has happened both inside Nok and outside. Didn’t run into any trees or walls etc.
EDIT: I honestly feel like I’ve DCed more in this expansion more than my entire time in Wow before now. I know it’s probably not quite that much but damn. The amount of times I’ve been casually DCed in DF or even worse stuck in perma-DC loops and have to either wait 15 minutes or use character stuck to fix it is unreal.
This just started happening to me the day after 10.1
Tuesday I was flying around Zaralek for hours on my main just fine, but Wednesday now I can’t fly anywhere without the problem described above, where suddenly none of my controls or buttons will respond, and when I land I d/c or have to alt+F4 to force close the game (the Exit menu doesn’t respond). It only started when I was playing a level 63 alt and did a dragonriding race, but now it happens anytime I try flying around.
It’s happening to me even with the stock ui (no addons), so I’m at a loss what to try next to fix this.
I don’t know if it will work for anybody else, but doing a full UI reset per this discussion seemed to get me out of the dragonriding-dc loop.
This has been happening to me pretty often since 10.1, at least once or twice a day. It did happen a couple times before the patch too. It doesn’t always happen right after taking off, sometimes I can be in the middle of a race course or just traveling somewhere and suddenly I can’t turn or activate dragonriding abilities. The mount keeps flying in a straight line until I hit something that stops me which causes a disconnect.
Twice this has even happened when I was on a trajectory out to sea and my character continued going until fatigue kills me far out in the ocean. That was annoying.
