No, you are not. There are plenty of ways to slow your self down. you can even turn off xp. You dont need the ability to tailor other peoples experience.
Thats funny. i just made a new lock. Got to 10 in the nelf starting areas, went to stormwind. Elwynd forest, westfall, redridge, darkshore and part of loch modan. That got me 30. Got flight. thats a lot of zones to just get to 30. Are you cherry picking to get max xp? That could be your problem.
Them making leveling quicker and not letting people go back and enjoy older content just puts more pressure on them to create more endgame content to occupy people who would otherwise be leveling.
Oh well, at least we’re getting them to finally focus on that content. But it’s been a pretty rough time for a bit.
Shadowlands was the opposite. Super dragged, had you cast 20 skills to kill one enemy, defensive and self-healing was mostly useless. Felt terrible.
I think DF was nice because it helped me play alts more, but yea, I guess it’s quite fast.
If Warbands are going to help share some of that progress to alts, then I guess the pacing could slow down a bit and be more consistent. Might help with the narrative, too.
I agree with Endofline. It’s perfectly fine for your first time through, but after completing it once it really would be nice to get an XP buff for alts.
I agree i have a small alt army and i cannot imagine doing anymore of the same mundane quests thay are beyond forgettable.
Shadowmoon (tbc) icecrown, searing gorge (vanilla) twilight highlands theist goes on with memorable zones and quest chains and it all fell off sharpish after legion
One thing ESO got right, in my opinion. Level anywhere. Just play. You aren’t a big fan of Shadowlands, skip it. Dragon Flight not your xpac, play wrath.
