Dragonflight is the final straw. WHY I AM QUITTING WoW!

No, it was an AI generated wall of text based off of one sentence, which-- as you said-- sounds like every other WHY I AM QUITTING WOW thread.

Funny how that’s the paragraph you read, lmao.

Okay, I’ll bite. The game is more fun and and immersive when it creates a welcoming experience for everyone, there’s nothing “woke” about that.

It is week one.

You play a cartoon cow.

I’d agree if we were talking about Shadowlands, but the questlines haven’t felt this good since Legion. Seems like you skip the quest text.

Ah yes, an NPC you spend literal minutes with is woke culture.

For some classes maybe. Mages just got buffed.

Good news. The trading post is a great way to earn shop items in game in 10.0.5

You really think this is a mess compared to the mess of BFA and Shadowlands?

Most people that legit quit dont come on the forums to post it.

They just log in their account and hit the cancel sub button.

Ive done it a few times throughout the years.

Godspeed young moo cow.

You will be missed.

Bottom line is that they design the raids and tune them around the world first, top guilds, esports players. They don’t care about the other 95% of their player base having a challenging but FUN experience… inside instances (PvP, Raid, Dungeons)

I completely agree about the mechanics. It’s hard for a casual guild or pug group to have great success with the complicated (dance dance) mechanics, because they are designed for a group that is used to playing together, optimized (with class/spec mix) to perform best and communicating constantly and effectively.

Those requirements leave the majority of players at a huge disadvantage until later on when they can partially out gear the content. It’s quite literally a toxic gaming environment when you design the game for the absolute elite that have the time, skill, money, resources, and support to play as well as the paid incentives to do so.

It’s ridiculous that it’s been allowed to continue this way for so long. You can state many valid reasons for the millions of WoW subs lost over the years, but I believe designing the game around the esports, world first, MDI and arena players is at the expense of the vast majority who play the game.

Furthermore, to validate what I said above, I remember prior to Legion, a casual group with only a few skilled and/or geared players could carry a group through a kill. So, there was not a ton of pressure if a mechanic was failed or someone made a mistake and died early.

But now, even LFR and Normal raid, if 1-2 players don’t do enough DPS or mess up mechanic, ALL PLAYERS ARE PUNISHED! It will usually mean a wipe. That’s fine on Mythic or even Heroic (maybe) but on Normal and LFR? Come on now.

If 18/20 people do well but a couple mess up on normal or LFR, everyone’s time is wasted. I die because someone didn’t run his debuff out. I’m not doing world first FFS and lower difficulty raid tiers should not be so punishing or demanding on a casual player or someone who doesn’t have time to devote hours and hours weekly to raiding.

I’ve said this dozens of times, as long as the cancer at the head of this game is still in charge, the raid logging, stat spreadsheet toxic, numbers over PEOPLE mentality will not change.

can i have your gold?

Which is so sad and disturbing. It speaks to the general lowering of intelligence that 4-5 paragraphs, not pages, is this insurmountable task

You can have mine if you use it to learn how to quote text without quoting the entire post…or at the very least on learning to read the whole thing

Context, Context, CONTEXT! Or, think before you speak (post).

No agenda is being forced down our throats. For years those people had no representation whatsoever in any form of anything, now they get some love and you hate it. Solution, don’t read the quest text if it bothers you that much.I’m willing to be that’s about 95% of the reason for your rant.

I`ve never experience a Raid, but mob scaling is really bad for character progression.

It’s the forums. Not an essay, not a book, not an article. The forums. A social media website. Many people will easily pass over long rants on Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, etc. just to save time. Especially because social media is often something people use to fill up small spaces of time on the bus or in between classes.

I don’t think most people will find the task insurmountable. I think most people will question if reading that much of a rant is worth their time and energy within a certain time frame on a social media site.
