Yeah I see where you’re coming from, I just wish they didn’t just heavy hand remove all player power stuff.
I would’ve preferred an approach similar to Legion.
Well what is it that you want to do? There’s tons of stuff, questing, dungeons, Mythic+ and Raids are coming any day not, professions, pvp, dragon flying, what is it that you want to do that’s not there?

There is still plenty to do, although that will depend personally. Also, It may be because currently this DF expansion is trying to be Alt friendly at start, hence why they were allowing the Winds of Wisdom 50% experience buff & another afterwards on the Anniversary, encouraging to level different classes & many players find that enjoyable. It’s challenging trying different classes. Anyhow, may you find your mojo gaming again one way or another, cheers!
So why are you acting surprised when people log in and find there to be a lack of content?
I’m not the one that’s surprised at all; You’re the surprised one I guess, because you paid $50 for something that didn’t include any new expansion features that you would’ve wanted, like Torghast, and now you’re out here asking for a refund.
You complains about grind but at same time likes Torghast… you’re contradicting yourself.
If you don’t like Dragonflight content, i think you simply don’t like wow or any other mmorpg. You should play ARPG games like Diablo or Lost Ark.

It might not sit right with some people but I want more player power related grinds, legendaries to pursue and Torghast type mini games created.
I feel like people give SL a lot of flak, and maybe it does deserve it but it feels far more creative than DF.
DF reminds me of a nice painting that’s cool to look at but lacks a lot of depth once you dig a little deeper.
Clearly you are surprised if you’re shocked other people have a different experience.
Torghast wasn’t a grind to me, some of us enjoyed it for what it was.
They don’t have to bring back Torghast, but they don’t have any game mode like that which was fun and stand alone and let people test their skills in some sort of gauntlet.
To me it screams a rushed game with lack of preparation.
No, no, no and NO.
We do not need borrowed power. That is not a solution. What they need to do is get off their lazy developer butts and actually do their job: creating NEW content, instead of rehashing old systems (like world quests).
If they added a ton of new unlocks for customization of your character, customization of your dragon, xmogs, cosmetic and toy rewards and mounts… people would play mythics and PVP.
The problem is not the system design. For ONCE the systems are designed GREAT. The problem is that WoW has always and still has been lazy as hell with their development and all they do is re-skin previous expansions and sell it over and over again, since Vanilla.
I’m holding out hope that the reason there is less content now is because they know this and are hard at work creating new stuff for us to achieve, but I won’t be surprised if it does not happen.

You are right about Shadowlands getting a lot of flack. I think we should all understand why Blizzard moved away from anything in that release. Question is, when everyone in the forums was dumping on SL, were you defending it and pointing to the things that you liked about the release?
This is very naive, just because they give us a half finished expansion doesn’t mean they’re working on some mind blowing content down the road lol.
When has this ever happened for any expansion?
You rooting for there to be a lack of content is exactly why myself and others will get bored.

Forums just seemed interesting though because lack of downvotes and upvotes means content won’t get buried.

You having a different experience is not the thing that surprises me. The thing that surprises me is that someone could purchase something that didn’t include any of the types of content and features they wanted and then act surprised about it later and want a refund.
You should learn to do a little bit of research about what you’re purchasing, if the $50 is so meaningful to you.
