Brewmaster is the least played tank in M+, Did we really need DPS nerfs?
If the DPS was that extreme then people would actually play them.

Great to see Affliction buffs, the spec really needs it. But it needs a single target buff much more than these AOE changes. It’s way behind in raids and M+ when it comes to ST damage. Would love to see buffs to either unstable affliction, focused malignancy, or malefic rapture. Also Phantom Singularity continues to fall further behind Vile Taint in all content. Please give it a buff (maybe a CD reduction to go with it, it doesn’t line up with anything at the moment).

hmmmm yes… lets nerf the damage of the least viable and represented tank. This is just what I needed to make it easier to get in to those 11+ key groups.

Uh hello? Where are the dk tier set changes??? Blood still wants to wear our old tier set. And frost still wears their s3 4set… truly an FU to dks… i know they dont care about dks but sheesh…
And why are you buffing warlocks??? Theyre doing insane dps right now… holy sh… are they out of touch…

The efforts to shoehorn through that Troll Heritage set indicate otherwise, if something isn’t good get it fixed don’t stand by it. Actual Troll players and Darkspear enthusiasts have been waiting so long for this set and it’s a huge let down. Please, if you’re reading this contact whoever you need to contact to fix this.
It’s not an inherently ugly set (except for the mask, and belt on the male). It’s more that there are obvious clipping issues and a few of the pieces are boring texture wise (boots,gloves the weak shoulder). The issues with the set are more issues of missed opportunity since the Darkspear have arguably THE coolest cultural armor thematically speaking of all races with so little of it accessible to players.
There are so many existing concepts in WC3, WoW, and official Concept Art and Lore that ought to have been used instead. It’s no secret that Troll players have wanted epic back rigs with skulls and a properly fitted cloth mask and Rush’kah for a long time. (Maybe even a Trollish Glaive or Kukri) This was kinda our one shot to see these any time soon and it’s been blown.

My main is a brewmaster… clearly not the best tank right now… I’ve been waiting for tuning because I figured we’d get a pretty decent buff since we are underperforming by a large margin…. See the patch notes article on wowhead and got super excited…. Only to find out they put the nerf hammer to our damage??? I am just at a loss of words right now… the only thing we remotely had going for us was dps…

Yeah if we’re making suggestions may I also add:
Putting a cd on cyclone? Can’t even outplay with damage or dispelling it like poly or hex- the latter of which does in fact have a cd.
Maybe not buffing MM rapid fire? Like MM one-shots are manageable sometimes but annoying never the less, no need to buff it.
This one is def selfish but can we priests have MD be it’s previous cd? idk I can only ever use it once, maybe twice a game- mostly against druid’s clones as it is the only option I have.
And can we take all the kneecaps from DHs. ig that can’t really be implemented yet, but if we could get someone researching that I’d be forever grateful.

I was thinking about playing some survival this season but then I realized the tier set was so undertuned, it made me realize I didn’t want to deal with that. When the tier sets were announced Blizzard said that they would be tuned to be competitive. I am confused about the silence and lack of follow-through here. I have a buddy that only plays surv on their hunter, and they commented they weren’t playing even though they wanted to. Please address this

I see everyone asking about survival hunter, which I agree 1000000%… However, I would also like to know who was wasted when they voted on the worst tier for SH in DF. Season 3 was incredible, season 1 is trolling. I legit parking my main because S3 is more AOE than S4 XD. Also, S3 was way more fun and rewarding as a playstyle.

Personally agree that S3 is my favored playstyle, and the AoE is not close between the 2 sets. Some SV players prefer the increased single-target dps of unnerfed S1 set though, and anyone that prefers spearhead vs CA gains more benefit from S1 as well.
Not for me, but some people really enjoy that style.

I hope they just swap it to S3! That would be so good.
People voted on the idea that it would be tuned up, though. So if they had actually tuned this to make it do comparable damage it would have been neat. I’m pretty sure I didn’t vote on surv at all but I can picture that if I did, it would have been under the assumption that it would be tuned to compensate.
I bet the problem is that if they were to tune this they’d need to make the abilities do like 250% more damage and it would be OP for ST. So maybe they should just revert to S3 …

Well, the next 3 x-packs are already planned to be shorter than previous ones…so they’ll forgo them altogether and just move on in the future.

I ripped threat off of Tindral from the tanks in the raid about 30s into the fight as Arcane. There are definitely some threat issues going on currently
