It sure seems like we have to beg. As long as you give them money
I just got it. Thank you Blizzard. Youâre the best!
Who? I recognized like four names on this list and I donât watch any of them. Are they paying you to advertise their channels or what?
does a back flip
ples notice me influencer
No thank you.
Oh cool. So only streamers (and the people that pay them the most in bits, tips and such) will be playing beta from now on?
Check you Emails new wave went out this morning, so good luck!
Can I just pay for one? lol. Also, if I get more than one is it ok to give them out?
Thanks for the heads up! No luck for me, so back to playing streamer lotto I suppose.
you mean we need to buy the key from streamers now to get access to beta???
I paid 90$ (technically 180$ since I paid for a friend as well for the expac) the least I ask is a beta invite!!
I mean⌠He was banned for RMT reasons not long ago and has been openly toxic towards the development of the game and the direction it has taken. Why should he get some keys? Not really the type of face a company would want.
Just like Preach, why give him beta keys? He openly dissed the game and the development team after an Ion interview and declared that he would never play the game again.
It feels very lame and stupid the way blizz deal with key giveaway.
This thing of giving to popular streamers is very disrespectfull to the whole community.
People who purchased the epic edition (expensive)
Veteran players (those who are around since cata or WOTLK.
noooo⌠they just keeping butt kissing those twitchers that started playing last monthâŚ
Thank you Blizz for always remember me how bad you guys are.
To me it just seems like the streamers give the keys out to their longest watching viewers or the ones that throw enough money at their channel to gain their notice. (I mean they can prove me wrong but till they do thatâs been my perception.)
I donât understand the replies in this thread.
When they only give keys to big streamers, yâall yell that thereâs no chance because thereâs too many viewers.
But when they give them to lesser known streamers like now, yâall get mad they gave them to people you donât know.
Like⌠what are you even complaining about at this point?
I donât think key giveaways should be happening at all, but thatâs me. I think opt ins should be restricted to those who acknowledge they plan to send in bug reports and feedback. Because the majority of beta players donât. They treat it like early release and it isnât.
Not even a beta key can get me to go on Twitch.
Thanks though.
Are these drops or what cause I watched several streams and didnât see anything or progress being made.
Yeah, Preach and Bellular can kick rocks
Personally, I think the complaining has less to do with big vs. little streamers & more to do with Blizz forcing artificial scarcity on their beta. People (myself & others) likely wouldnât be frustrated by how the beta invites were had they gotten in the beta. But as is, a lot of people are on the outside looking in which always draws attention to the process.
Really, this beta in particular is a weird one to be so selective on who plays it. We are talking about a fairly narrow beta window for a WoW expansion, so getting as many eyes on it as possible can only help for finding more bugs/issues. We are talking about the first expansion after perhaps the most maligned time in WoWâs history after the results from the California AG as well as the dislike for Shadowlands, particularly 9.1. We are also talking about a brand new class, something that has a particularly weird range that people wonât be used to.
But Blizz seems determined to keep this as a closed beta. So until thatâs resolved, people who arenât in the beta will look at how those keys are distributed & find any and all flaws in the system.
The codes are for viewers, not for the streamers themselves lmao. ALL of these streamers get beta access.
