Am I the only one that is not looking forward to Dragonflight? All we are getting is new ways to get the same abilities we already have… and faster flying speed. I’m seriously not impressed. Is there something I am missing here?

While Im not excited about DF…it is a WoW expansion and looks like pretty much every other WoW expansion
A few new zones, dungeons, and raids with a couple core features. I guess if there is anything to be excited about, its what they are leaving out of this x-pack

I am looking forward to new instanced pve content without a bunch of garbage systems to keep up with in order to do said content.
I am also incredibly excited about the crafting overhaul for a bit of casual solo projects.

I saw one feature I wanted to try. Soar. And they nerfed it into the dust before I even got to try it.

Honestly the fact that it’s going to release without a bunch of overly complicated, annoying, alt-hindering systems gives me a little bit of hope that it’ll be good.

I’m excited to play a few classes, sadly not Paladin.
No Borrowed power is nice.
While we have only seen a little some of the casual content seems much better this time around. The new stuff seems fun.
PvP gearing finally changed for the better, back are the days where I could level an alt, buy a PvP crafted set and then jump into PvP without being total trash. Even though you will still start off weaker, we can actually do BG’s and casual PvP once again like we have done in the past.

Overhaul to outdated systems, new bgs with new rewards and achievs, More evergreen content, more QoL changes, update old zones, wpvp overhaul

I want a revamped world content loop.
So far, there is nothing interesting at all about DF. More raids and dungeons, but those are expected, talent trees where it looks like certain specs (MM Hunter) will lose more than it will gain, and some flying system that no one will really care about beyond a week or two.
Unless you’re completely delusional, everyone knows the story is gonna be the same BlIzZaRd WrItInG tEaM mAgiC we’re currently sick of.
Is there not a new gameplay loop for anything? The same “WQ/Cache” system trash we’ve had for half a decade at this point? Nothing even bothered to be splashed over with a see-through coat of paint?
I’m just hoping for something different, anything to shake up the horrible daily formula at this point.

I couldnt give two hozen craps about the flight ability theyre bringing in. To me its just one more way to control flight by he who shall not be named.
But some of the other info seems to indicate that professions will be better, as may be character talents and such. And the new zone sounds to be pretty large.
Screw the dragon riding…if the rest of the expansion is good, I’ll buy it for that.
Someone other than Blizzard handling it.
Their modus operandi hasn’t changed.
