Sadly, the rares don’t respect your loot table like a dungeon drop would, and a majority of the time will not drop something you can use. I looted this item on my druid, as well. In this case, the loot table for this rare seems to be limited to strength and plate items, but sometimes a rare will have something you can use and you will still loot the item you can’t.
