they can have time powers from the bronze dragon flight that let them buff and debuff enemies!
cauterizing healing from the red!
offensive nature magic from the green!
tank powers from blue by manipulating arcane engergies to protect themselves!
earth tank powers from black! (ok, this would probably make shaman too salty)
hell, why are we even limiting ourselves to the dragon aspects flights? we could have stuff from the netherwings! the twilight dragons! the infinite flight! the storm drakes!
I donât think youâre quite cut out for the fantasy genre if having wings upsets you.
This is why I think its going to be a revamp of Covenants and not a new class. They just need to twist it a little bit and the hype train will do the rest of the work.

Play an undead being healed by a source of light magic if that suits your tastes, that is exactly what happens to them every time.

Yes it would. I think shamans should get a earth spec really, that element is underrepresented.
Because those are not dragonflights, they are mutated dragons really that donât have equal powers to the flights.

I mean, Except for the 5 Aspects, all the Dragons weâve encountered have been perfect replications of humanoids.
I would just expect a special race that can look like any of the existing races. And has a special mount that behaves like a customizable Vial of the Sands.
This is making me seethe in hatred right now. No more borrowed power!

Base it on HotS Dragon characters Alexstraza (Heals), Chromie (DPS), and Deathwing (Tank) and it wonât overlap with any existing class.

and no the primary ones arenât really all the much more powerful than the lesser ones since they lost their powers in cataclysm.

But they use arcane baised defensive skills, used often in pvp.

They all can still use their powers to the fullest extent. Only the aspects lost allot of their powers.

If dragons are real they will be a race/class combo.
A dragon playing a class would be a major downplay for dragons.

I would personally rather get a dragon race that can morph into and out of dragon forms but so that you can choose when to morph, not uncontrollable like worgen. Because I love mogging but also would sometimes feel like tanking as prot paladin in dragon form.

I agree here, but if the (probably fake) leak about micro classes is true, Iâd be super excited for that and I think there can be a bit of overlap much how Demon Hunters and Warlocks Overlap thematically but play radically different.
Precisely, I was getting ready to post this when I saw the title:
Hypothetically, they could even merge the two concepts of âraceâ and âclassâ into a singular entity.
In short, if you have playable dragons, you need to express that in gameplay.

A dragon race that is just a race would be the most boring and meaningless addition in the entire history of the game.
And if the leaks are true the dragons can look like whatever race they want but with horns and have their own exclusive class.
