Dracthyr/Evoker Glyphs

People told them they didn’t want systems and then they get roasted for eliminating them .

The devs aren’t the issue, the playerbase literally never being happy is.

Why put tons of effort into something that everyone cries about regardless of the effort you put in?

That’s BS.

Nobody complained about the Legion systems in any meaningful sense. After they made the changes to the artifact power for alts and legendary bad luck protection measures, the systems were well loved and pretty much perfect.

People complained about systems when Blizzard decided Legion was too much work for them and they could same a same price expansion with half or less the content in the following expansions, where they pruned the artifacts and their talents and implemented half baked systems like azerite armor or covenants which took a fraction of the design Legion did.

And they were right to complain about azerite armor and covenants, because they were bad systems. Azerite armor degraded legion’s spec based systems for boring class-wide passives with zero class themed visuals, and Shadowlands covenants doubled down on that with covenant spells that didn’t fit the majority of the classes thematically and boring, unimpactful covenant spells.

There’s a reason that toward the end of Shadowlands they brought old Legion legendaries back and then in DF unpruned much of Legion and the few successful BFA/SL spells into the talent trees.

And even leaving systems aside, THERE IS NO CONTENT.

Look at DF, half your M+ dungeon pool are recycled old dungeons, the story went nowhere (you are supposed to help the aspects gain their powers back to be able to fight the incarnates, and then Blizzard decides you can kill the Incarnates without getting aspectral powers back anyways; Vyranoth falls out with Fyrakk and yet we don’t see a single exchange or cutscene between them after she deserts him, or even dialogue between Vyranoth and Fyrakk during his encounter).

No class halls, no class mount quests. Nothing related to specs or class fantasy. It’s not just borrowed power they pruned.

They outright bored you to death this xpac with throwaway storylines that went nowhere or were wasted, like Ysera and Malfurion.

This system is infinitely better than just having the same dungeons, lmao.

No it isn’t, “lmao”. They should be designing actual new PvE content instead of recycling it.

You’re entitled to that opinion, even if the m+ seasons with repeated dungeons were atrocious and got insanely boring.

Sorry you think this game costs enough money with zero increase over 20 years for that much development to be happening every season, but it doesn’t.

This isn’t how good business models work whether you like it or not.

What a laughable argument. This company owns CoD, the most popular MMO, and D4 sold 650M+ copies, at 80 base price plus 20-30 shop store skins. To even act like this company is running a game on tight margins is just not a serious argument.

You hold water for this company if you want. I have no intention of making excuses for why they screw their consumers in favor of funneling money to a bunch of overpaid executives while they mismanage their underpaid developers.

What’s laughable is having zero SaaS business acumen and trying to argue about allocation of funds.

The profitability of those games goes back into those games. It doesn’t go towards other titles.

Wow isn’t currently close to as profitable as those, it will never get the same resources.

WoW is more profitable than Diablo has ever been. It’s what prompted the acquisition to begin with. Even if its sales are lower historically, it’s still their cash cow.

So do you expect profits/man hours from WoW get diverted to diablo projects?

I expect them to not act like they’re going to run losses if they design 4 more dungeons when they just spent time making some gimmicks like Plunderstorm or Pandaria remix.

Make excuses if it pleases you, you’re the reason they’ve grown bold enough to charge a quarter to a third of the base game price on mounts and skins on Diablo on top of charging for a battle pass.

So to summarize:

You want blizz to simultaneously stop reusing dungeons, and at the same time start designing and adding new dungeons in the final 6-9 months of an expansion that they will never use again?

Got it, makes perfect sense. No more questions.

Sure, I totally asked they do it in the final season and not during the actual length of the expansion.

Both examples you used of them using development hours on other things happened in the timeframe mentioned, because those teams were busy with retail content before.

You’re just the classic example of a doomer that will find something to complain about no matter what.

Needs to happen, i wanna play one but i cant stand the silly looking dragonform. I dont know why i find every race\form fine from balance druid to tauren… but dracthyr i just cant stand it.

I remember a small minority of balance druids saying this when people asked for glyph of stars.

Is it so hard to believe people wanna play the first new caster in 20 years without lookingt like a lizard.

Busy with retail content, as in the base release content, no new dungeons after the initial release (Legion had 3), and a whopping 3 raid tiers?

You’re the classic example of the patsy who will lick up whatever company spit is thrown his way. I just gave an example of an expansion where they did well and should be the standard, and your trite retort is “you’ll find anything to complain about”. I guess I will, until they return to the Legion standard. You settle with your barren, overpriced filler xpacs.

There were technically 2 after release, we’re just blatantly lying to try to justify the complaining now?

Your Karen energy is suffocating, lol.

You’re like the person that goes to a restaurant and says “they made my steak wrong the last 4 times” and yet you continue to go to that restaurant and order that same steak they never seem to make to your liking because at the core, you just love to complain more than you want to enjoy your dinner.

What’s worse is that you’re not content in your own misery; you need to tell any customer that’s enjoying their steak that they’re wrong and they’re apologists.

Find a restaurant you like (and let people enjoy things).

I made a reply to someone asking about glyphs and you literally turned it into your soapbox about the players being a problem. I’ll admit I should have seen the red flag that you’re some kind of memelord turd looking to drag people into your tedious semantics. So now you go on the mute list, see you never.

Just like to clarify, the issue has been addressed and will not be on War Within Release, but will be further addressed when Dracthyr are able to be multiple classes. (full evoker talent tree needs to be rewritten because of it)

So Visage day is coming

Based on the post about this from blizz, it explicitly stated that non-evoker Dracthyr would be able to fight in visage, not evokers.

That might change, but as of now it looks like they don’t plan on it.
