Dracthyr repopulation problem

Oh, they were Neltharion’s Unsullied Army, 'eh?

If Jurassic Park has taught me anything about lizards, it’s

They’re Neltharion’s test tube baby experiments right? Can’t they just make more?

There’s a lot of body horror/lore about that. Neltharion didn’t intend for the Dracthyr to have souls but WHOOPSIES it happened anyway. They were literally meant to be toy soldiers and when they weren’t and couldn’t be controlled anymore he had a meltdown about it.

This is why you don’t play with death and life magic, kids. You may accidentally make Pinocchio a real boy.

And to answer OP’s question, Dracthyr literally have the essence of the Red and Green Dragonflight. Ya know, two life-giving essences… They can probably have children. Another reason to lock away the Aspect of Death’s sapient army of waifu body pillows.

I don’t remember it ever being confirmed that Dracthyr couldn’t have children. Is there something I missed?

It wasn’t confirmed or denied because it really isn’t relevant to the overall story. Who cares in the grand scheme of things?

Like it’d be a neat blurb in a lore book down the line, but the Dracthyr legitimately just woke up and there are… currently four entire armies of dracthyr? They aren’t dying out anytime soon. Every Dracthyr is a super soldier too so as much as orc players can unga bunga about killing the scalies, they ain’t going anywhere for a long, long time.

Add on top of that the aspects have returned to their former glory and we have NO idea how that will play into how powerful Evokers can be as they get their power directly from the tap of the dragonflights and each dragonflight got a massive power boost… Safe to say the lizards are gonna be with us a long time.

Yeah I know Dracthyr Roleplay has gone under the assumption that welps are possible for them.

It’s kinda 50/50. Some Dracthyr assume whelps can happen, and realistically, I don’t see why not. Again, full of Red and Green dragon essence and the Aspects are empowered again (Even more so thanks to AZEROTH HERSELF doing the empowering this time… That’s not going to blow up in our faces. Absolutely not.)

On the other hand, other Dracthyr roleplayers believe that, and I’m quoting the late Alan Rickman from Dogma here, are ‘As anatomically impaired as a Ken doll’.

Seems Blizz is content to let the lizards do their own thing, which I approve of.

If they were created to be soulless, doesn’t that suggest probably not?

I don’t care cause I’ll be dead.

I…want to mention details nobody is realizing but…idk if it’s appropriate for the forums. I’ll…try to just give the short version I guess… they’re lizards…dragons…and… well… dragons don’t like showing off such things… they’re hidden. Dracthyr can most likely make children but they’re modest.

Usually its 3: res or run? But hey to each their own!

I’m pretty sure that they can reproduce. They don’t have…well…ya know showing off.

Oh no. Dracthyrs…run away. Run run run away. Far enough. Hide your Dracthyrs.

Neither dinosaurs nor dragons are lizards. You’ll notice they walk with their legs underneath them, instead of splayed out to the sides.

Maybe you’ll be to the Dragon Isles what stewards are to Bastion. Asexual creatures conjured at a rate depending on what is needed to keep the place tidy, and all the chores done.
