More classes for Dracthyr pretty much confirmed:
There is a high likelyhood down the line that Dracthyr can wield weapons and cast Frostbolts.

Need flying without a mount, I feel so stupid as a dragon with wings that has to ride another dragon with wings just to fly around.

Didn’t blizz explicitly say that further into the expansion it would make sense to give more classes to drakthyr but that evoker the class would stay exclusive to that race?

I think it’s exceedingly unlikely that any race other than Dracthyr could ever been an Evoker because you need wings, you need the ability to literally breath Draconic energy to perform any of the abilities. The Dracthyr that we’re meeting are all Evokers because that’s what they were created by Neltharion to be. That is their unique gift, they can channel the power of all the Dragonflights and this is who they are. Now as they emerge in Azeroth and integrate with the Alliance and Horde over time, could they learn to pick up an axe and be a great warrior, quite possibly, but that’s not where their story is starting in Dragonflight.”
So yes its probably gonna happen but don’t expect human evokers, the full Q&A is on wowhead and I can’t post links on forums yet
TLDR: other classes are coming to the race in time, but the class race will NOT come to other races

Yea Ion said they would, but atm it makes zero sense for them to be anything other than evoker which is 100% true.
Were in the beginning of their story arc, it would be kind of dumb if they just woke up and already mastered other magic schools or weapons. Blizzard is handeling them the right way.

More then likely yes their racials would cause problems in general more likely they get a proper visage then get new classes.
Ion already implied they will get more class options. He hinted about Zandalari Paladins in the same way.

Yuh idk like the way I see it they’ve gotta make a choice Keep Evoker and Dracthyr as a thing using the visage as a compromise for Evokers not being available to other Races or keep Evoker as a Dracthyr exclusive and give them all the other classes eventually all though Death Knight could be complicated after Shadowlands.

Long story short don’t remember how to use them so you’ll just have to deal with it 
Also Blizzard want to bring all the classes to all the races in time so.
It would be good for that race, at least it would finally have some dignity for what is just a class, and it is not a dragon.
