Bugs and Improvement Suggestions

1. Chosen Identity: Make it so Evokers always transform into their Visage form when mounting. (It feels a bit silly to stay in Dracthyr form while riding mounts. This was a default option in the early stages of Dragonflight’s Alpha/Beta—it would be great to reintroduce this as a “Chosen Identity” perk.)

2. Special Customization for Evokers: Other heroic classes in the game have unique customization options that let them stand out. It would be great to add similar options for Evokers, especially now that Dracthyrs can be other classes. Examples: glowing eyes (like the Aspects), horns, or radiant wings.

3. Transmog: This is likely the most-discussed topic for Dracthyr. Allow transmogs for Dracthyr forms. Let players transmogrify their Dracthyr and Visage forms separately. This is probably the main reason many avoid playing as Dracthyr. Changing this would open up countless possibilities and greatly improve the race’s appeal.

Bugs:

• Dracthyr Form Voice Lines for Evokers:Currently, Dracthyr Evokers do not play any voice lines while in Dracthyr form.

IIRC, it wasn’t that using visage form on mounts was a “default option” in the early beta, but mandatory because the dracthyr form simply wasn’t given stool or seat-level sitting positions. Originally, they straight up weren’t going to let you avoid using your visage because of it.

Yes, you were forced to use visage for mounts. Then they created the “Chosen Identity” racial, which kept you in the desired form.
Dracthyr form on mounts is kind of weird, because of the wings. So having this bonus on the “Chosen Identity” racial would be interesting.
When you use an ability that forces dracthyr form like Hover, you stop moving outside of combat, chosen identity doesn’t change you to visage form, so it would be cool to do this when using a mount.

Personally, I think the visage should be completely removed from Dracthyr because there is no reason for them to have one. They are not dragons so they do not need a smaller form to interact comfortably with the rest of us, their present visage with all its embellishments do not allow them to blend in, and it does not add anything constructive to the race. On top of that, it makes no sense for drakthyr to have female and male visages since they are genderless or that that their visages are pre…

Today visage is part of the race, I don’t think it should be removed, because removing visage wouldn’t make Dracthyr’s form better.

always staying in visage would also kill half the purpose of the race/class. we need the dracthyr to be better, not completely ignore their existence.

Oh no, I’m advocating for not removing the Visage.

I actually like and enjoy using both forms on my Evoker and Warrior.
