Dracthyr children

the scourge never raised children alone, their meat was used to create the abominations

:open_mouth: :frowning:

That is really dark… but, perhaps we can have the little ghosts of zombie kids? LOL

Closest your gonna get is a ghost kid in Darrow shire.

Unless specifically stated, I don’t think we should assume dracthyr are sterile. Created or not they’re still living creature with male and female sexes. Other wise it’d be pointless to have two sexes if they can’t reproduce.

basically what aug is so uh… I just lay 50 eggs and find a new monster to fertalize each one.

The reason they don’t exist is they were turned into abominations or… well lets just say there is a boss in nax.

That is the jurassic park logic.

Can’t even say for aethetics as we aren’t sexually dimorphic. Well our bodies arne’t but are vocies seem to be?

I am pretty sure you were designed with out the ability to reproduce as your creator didn’t want you to breed out of his ability to control.

It’s a fantasy game. Just assume the Awakening Machine or some Life Zerith works on every race and we can get 3rd print grown Dracthyr like the Sims

They’ve shown expressions of love for each other once or twice, that has to culminate in something eventually.
Whether that leads to procreation or not, I’d say Blizz will just gloss over that and have little Dracs running around eventually. Goodness forbid there be any adult storytelling in this game whose average playerbase is pushing 30.

Any quest that calls you by your general type call Dracthyr dragonkin, so the game considers them so. They are as much dragonkin as the Drakonid and the Dragonspawn, who were also raised up from other races originally.

As for eggs? Eh, I would say they are prolly capable of reproduction. If you are making a slave race for combat it is helpful that they can replenish their own numbers without you having to babysit vats of liquid all day. Also, no point in specifically creating both male and female otherwise.

Also the fact that Emberthal talks about motherhood like it is a direction she did not want to go in, not a direction that was unavailable to the race as a whole.

Edit: Added thoughts on the actual thread topic and not just the Dracthyr biological family.

That is the thing, as soon as the Dracthyr were out of his control they were imprisoned. Any breeding beforehand would have been sanctioned by Deathwing, and would have made more sense than just having to micromanage them. Let them clutch and raise em as good little soldiers, basically.

The second the Dracthyr gained free will though, he froze em up in stasis.

Child care for 50 kids would be horrifying not gonna lie.
