Dracthyr children

Honestly, as a lore conversation I think it can be an interesting topic. It’s the same dilemma the forsaken faced. The sense of futility that comes from knowing your people invariably have a limited amount of time to exist. That those who currently exist is all you get.

Of course blizzard wrote in ways for more forsaken, with Sylvanas raising a whole bunch more undead. Though I guess that’s over now. For dracthyr though I don’t imagine there’ll be anything like that. No one is going to replicate what Neltharion did.

Hybrid creatures are generally sterile, like mules that are the off-spring of a horse and donkey, so with all the tinkering of magic and genes Neltharion did there’s a low low chance of dracthyr having kids.

But in a world of magic, a very bored or overly invested fanfic writer will make away for them to have kids.

I don’t know who needs to see this but all of our characters are infertile.

We’re just like barbie dolls. Nothing down there.

My cloaca is just hidden by my scales.

In the visage quest, Emberthal specifically says that she isn’t personally interested in motherhood in a way that doesn’t really imply it’s not an option for dracthyr.

So yeah we can have eggs.

Reptiles. Don’t. Have. External. Genitalia.

But you’re not a reptile.

Nothing. In. This. Game. Has. Any. Genitalia.

There are other sites for this nonsense. Go there.

Yes, the Dracthyr are literally reptiles. Everything about them is reptilian. They talk about clutch mates and broods.

HELL YEAH!

I’m ready to have more kids. I already adopted this science experiment freak (positive connotation, as I too am one). But giving em sibling via having some bio kids of my own would be rad.

No, you are Dracthyr. You are your own classification.

Do you understand how clades work?

Dracthyr are dragonkin, and thus reptiles.

neither does Gumby’s dad!

This stuff basically comes from a pile of fanon interpretations of a line that’s not even in the game lmao

Dracthyr do not fall under dragonkin since they were scratch built in a lab. You are your own classification of creature.

Yeah I have no idea. I’ve yet to see any hard confirmation one way or the other. But emberthal’s comment could imply one way but then again she could’ve also considered adopting so who knows

Dracthyr are explicitly stated to be part of dragonkind in Dragonflight.

Alexstrasza herself has a talk with dracthyr PCs about it.

Sorry you’re still coping about something or other.
