Because some of us don’t want Visage at all. You’re forced into it even though the stupid quest is all about “acceptance” when some of us literally just want to play as a Dragon and not hide it. The Aspects, Chromie, all the other Dragons? They’re weak and pathetic for using Visage. They shouldn’t have to take the form of other creatures just to “fit in”.
The one thing we’ve been asking for is TRANSMOG, and instead Blizzard is letting people who don’t like Dragons play as elves.
I do want to play this character. I’d been playing Holy Priest since Cataclysm before picking up Evoker for the first time last week, and now I love it, but hate Dracthyr.
Half of my character is Visage form.
Therefor, I will still be playing my character.
All the furries might be really mad but it’s a great change. Imagine getting one chance at a playable dragon race and they managed to make it look ridiculously goofy AND have no transmog. Yikes
At least now you can look like a cool person with horns and show off your swanky mogs.
@blizzard Please implement a version where the player is able to permanently remain in Visage form in and out of combat. Many players including myself love the Evoker gameplay but absolutely HATE the visual model/customization options for the Dracthyr form itself.
I stopped playing my evoker because of how much I dislike Dracthyr form, if I could play in visage form indefinitely I would be maining my evoker.
