I think this should be a thing.
Especially on high end content like mythic raiding or M+ where that heal would be a clutch in a heavy healing scenario to help the other healers out.
Im just talking about pop a flash heal here and there or what not.
Not talking about self heal, talking about healing other people.
Paladin, Shaman, Monk, Priest, Druid are all things.
Lets also add BM Hunter as well, just because they can.

I don’t know about other classes but as a druid it takes a ton of mana to heal when im in dps spec and the opposite applies when I am in heal spec. So ya just gotta watch mana if you do this.
I do heal others, with predatory swiftness I heal the tank or whoever my target is looking at with a macro.

I’m also talking about that. Every hybrid has the ability to throw a couple off heals, most choose not to. Shamans as a class are getting healing stream baseline in SL, I can already tell you the amount of Ele/Enhance that are going to use a global to throw one down.
I don’t play classic anymore.
But i had the idea of rolling a gnome warlock and trading people healthstones mid fight and then fixing the rest by bandaging people.
If i ever go back it’s simply for this.

but it’s better they focus on storming dps, using defensive skills at right timing, dodging boss skills they can, and plz NOT getting damage from corruption.
I mean pretty much only Ret realistically fulfills being able do this without gimping themselves.
Now, if other hybrids could get a version of selfless healer… Now that’s pretty poppin’.

It was so nice having the option to pop a quick, solid heal on someone when they were low. Added good decision making.
Raid is low and healers are looking maxxed out, do I use my free cast on Lightning bolt and get some dps out or Healing rain to help out the healers?
It’d be nice if the dps version of the heal did a bit more health than it does now but many dps classes can heal a little.
What and have healers screaming about it ? It’s bad enough they scream of it with a disciple priest doing healing and damage. there was a time a tinket that did just that and oh the uproar.
