DPS Player Needs New Guild

Just took a break from the game, and my current guild’s times aren’t going to work for me due to reasons outside of my control.

Looking for something more on the casual side (at least AOTC each tier). Tues/Weds starting around 9 central but time is negotiable. Monday and Thursday are difficult to commit to because of work and travel. Ready and willing to xfer for the right fit

BFA Raid Progress:
Uldir - AOTC 3/9 Mythic
BoD - AOTC

If you need someone to fill up the middle section of your DPS charts, I’m your guy. I mained Survival Hunter during Uldir and Enh/Ele Shaman during BoD, and would like to reroll onto something like DH or Monk going forward. I also have a lot of 120 alts that would need gear/AP, but I’ll list all of them that I would be comfortable playing just in case there’s a need for any:

  • Shaman
  • Hunter (Ranged or Survival)

  • Warlock
  • Still leveling Pally and Warrior as well

We recently restructured to a more progression focused attitude in mind. However having fun is still our main goal. We hang out in Discord, gamble during raid, and heckle each other on a regular basis. We engage in quite a bit of adult-themed tomfoolery so you must be open to that sort of humor.

Expectations of mythic raiders

  • Maintain Gem and Enchants on your gear
  • Have good attendance when it comes to mythic raiding (90% or above)
  • Able to communicate though voice chat
  • Able to take constructive criticism
  • Maintain knowledge about your class/spec
  • Know the fights ahead of time or at least have read a summary

Perks
Raid consumables (flasks) are covered as well as feasts. We expect raiders to maximize the use of these tools. Additionally, all raid repairs are paid by the guild bank.

Heroic Tuesday
Tuesdays is our laid back raid night. It’s more of a loot grab for Alts. Casuals are encouraged to participate!

Why should you join us?

  • Paradigm Shift has been a raiding guild for over 10 years (since Ulduar). So we aren’t going to disappear overnight like some guilds do.
  • We raid two nights a week, allowing for a social life outside of WoW.
  • At our peak we were a top 100 US raid guild. That same leadership team is with us today.
  • We play WoW to have fun.
  • We raid Tuesday and Thursday from 9pm-12am EST

Who are we looking for?

How do you apply?

  • We no longer maintain a guild website (discord has taken over as our guild communication tool).

What are we all about?

[A] Snip Snip on Stormrage is a casual, social guild strengthening their ranks and we’d love to have you join our membership. What we’ve found is that the sense of community has become less and less.

Here in Snip Snip, we treat you with respect and kindness (a rarity nowadays)! Similarly, we embrace questions and help you if you want assistance with anything. Running instances together is FUN, helping you tame that rare hunter pet is EXHILARATING and collecting your transmog sets can make you look AMAZING. We chat in Guild Chat and also talk in a guild Discord channel.

Since 2007, Snip Snip has been know as an active, social guild who dabbled in raiding, leveling, and laughing along the way. Yea, all that is going to stay the same except we’re going to do it with a little more style. (I’m not sure if that means cursive or not)…

We’re going to farm more delightful rare mounts, tame or commandeer exotic pets, start RBG’s groups rolling, begin mythic raiding all while having a positive, respectful environment so everyone can enjoy this game (this is our escape from our RL). Oh yea, did I mention we’re going to goof off a lot?

In the same Snip Snip spirit, we’ll do hide-and-seek events, lotteries, raffles, and anything else our creative minds can muster.
