Yeah im not saying it doesnt or couldnt happen, just that i myself would be extremely wary.
For a joke i applied to an m+2 on my Prot Pally at 567 and got invited, so there are people who would do it
Depends honestly. Ive spent my entire m+ time pugging. Ive seen people with exemplary credentials fall hard because they wete trying something new and unfamiliar.
So a 615 no score tank applying for a pug 10. I think even id pass
Make your own group, then pray a decent tank or healer appear. When one appears, the rest will be easy. But make sure pray hard enough for one to appear. After your group is formed, pray again that you can time the key.
May RNGesus bless you !!!
You know I was thinking about this the other day. I donât know any modern game where you log in, look at a long list of parties and then apply to five, wait 5m for them to reject you, fill up or for the timer to go out. And then apply to another 5. And just repeat that for 30m just to play the game.
Yeah, because they would either die or they would just ya know, make changes to make tons of more money from the subscriptions. Imagine having to apply to queue into COD lobbies for ranked. It would be cooked so fast.
Itâs the difference between PvP and pve content. PvP has an inherent success rate per game of 50%. PvE has no such guarantee.
WoW has, over years, conditioned its players to expect success from queued content because failing due to factors outside of your control is not fun. If a m+ run in player formed group fails, the players are the only ones capable of being at fault. But if an algorithmically formed group fails, then fault can easily lie with the game for failing to form a strong enough group.
All this post tells me is that youâve never pugged as a DPS until now.
It has literally always been far more painful than tank or heals, and an lfg tool would never get used for any decent key level. Youâd be waiting far, far longer (if you ever got a key at all).
You need too many specific things for a key for this to ever work. Youâd end up with three DPS warriors and be scuffed from jump.
If you want to pug as DPS, you need to be willing to start your own groups.
One heck of a lot of players have said that they are very happy that Blizzard made these changes, just as they said at the start of Season 4 that they were very happy that Blizzard removed the learning curve, and now casuals could just spontaneously git gud. So are players way better, especially at the lower levels of difficulty?
What exactly is âtoo hardâ?
If they truly made it too hard, and people who used to do it no longer have a path to progression, which you seem to be celebrating in this post, that means that people who no longer have access to the content they used to find fun will no longer have as much to do in the game and will disproportionately give up, not magically wake up some morning saying, âIâm gud now!â
Itâs not. You can complete an M0 at 580, yes. But of they get someone out others queueing with a higher item level, they will take them over you. It wasnât like that when M0 opened up, but that was because thatâs what the baseline was. Now? 580 is too little on peopleâs mind.
Iâd take a 580 into M0, but itâs only a people problem. Youâd just like it to be a Blizz problem.
I said this before say it again. DPS have a hard time becuase of being melee range and same class
No one wants an all melee party no one wants an all range party. No one wants two hunter or three shamans as dps
Since only three slots exist once say a melee joins the group the leader will only take range and then might go farther and only want magic user not hunter.
Bow we get the real sweat party leaders usually know mechanics and will dodge classes that will have a hard time with boss example melee
Create your own group and watch as you get 6 hunters wanting an invite when you already have one hunter then they will come here to cry
The provlem is the system and tou bums wanting to cake walk everything because this is no longer a game and is streamer life
