Dps m+ pugging does not exist

Nobody asking for handouts or jumps in +,
just do an automatic grouping like for heroic and normal, its gonna be amazing, trust.

…when you make groups for a zero or 2, do YOU invite 580s when there could be 590s or even 600s in the q?

People cried for solo shuffle and since solo shuffle was released people have been crying about solo shuffle

Blizzard needs to make tanking and healing more fun, not more annoying. Right now, everything feels super punishing if anyone messes up. I wish Blizzard awarded good play and was more neutral on bad play.

I would love to go back to tanks being practical gods in keys and healers being able to heal through most things if they have all their CDs up.

Maybe we need less casters in the packs of mobs, maybe we need the -15 sec death timer to go away, or maybe at least sub 11 keys, things just need to be less hard.

For that dps out there trying to climb, it has to be sheer hell trying to get into groups, unless you get a desired key, like Arak. GG if you get SV or COT.

delves

content below 610 does defacto not exist in this game

Blizzard listened to all the whiners on this forum and elsewhere complaining that tanks are too strong.

And they listened to that idiot resto shaman guide writer at wowhead, who was whining all throughout Dragonflight that healing was too easy.

In my experience, as dps if you are not pushing your own key, then you are doing it wrong.

The exception to the rule is if you already have KSM, then you can get invited easily to just about anything at that level. So basically when you likely don’t need to run it anymore.

It is not new though. It’s always been this way. Come to dal for inspection, then gearscore, then ilvls, now raiderio. There has always been some metric and folks always look for more than they need so as not to waste time and/or not brick their key.

It gets particularly dicey the first time you break into weekly vault max gear range. That very first key is your “golden ticket” so folks are super paranoid about who they invite (at least I was). Once I’m in vault filling territory or a few keys away from KSM, I chill with the requirements (when I’m not solely relying on my key to get into a group basically).

Less too easy, more too binary and cooldown focused, blizzard’s attempt at a solution seems to have only made things worse though.

Blame needs to be placed firmly on the self-proclaimed “influencers” who brought this about. People give them a pass, leaving them to continue to spout more blather.

No see people are playing, just not for you and your subpar iLVL DPS.

Make a key yourself, even just a fake one, make an M2 AK or GB since they contain sought after trinkets, now wait 2 minutes and count the DPS and healers, you will have 50 DPS show up per tank and healer and they will range from 570-630+ iLVL, even just for an M2.

Now go make a fake listing for something like SV or Mists, you won’t have as many DPS, but you will still have enough variance where you can choose any class and iLVL of your choice.

You tell me, why would I take a 580 iLVL DPS when I can take a 610-620 iLVL?

Yes 580 works for low keys, I tanked an M7 at 590 iLVL on my warrior so the iLVL is not the issue, it’s just a DPS issue in that far more DPS show up and it gives a far higher choice of who to take.

Blizzard made changes that were intended to keep these people from getting invited. The people who have little or nothing to do in the game because of these changes are under no obligation to try to fix these changes. If the game is not fun because you and others like you didn’t want those people to find it fun, you got what you wanted, which will probably mean a drastically increased sub fee and less new content. So you win!

i think one of the main issues here is people are gearing up in delves and then trying to jump straight to keys they don’t look ready for.

oh you’re 611 ilvl? that’s great! so is everyone else! if your best GB is a +2, you’re not getting into a stranger’s 8 GB. it doesn’t matter that you want the gear from it. there’s nothing to signal to group leaders that you’re ready for it.

No people asked for these changes.

Remember all the who hah about how heroic dungeons offer nothing and that no one is doing M0? Then they made the change to make M0 hard. Players literally asked for this, now they are complaining like many of us said would happen.

“We want hard content with good rewards.”
“No wait, not like that!”

What people want is to have the old M0 easy mode, but with the new M0 reward system, that’s what people wanted, they just didn’t want to admit it.

Anytime Blizzard makes something too hard, people complain.

Can’t exactly understand the thought process behind that, at least work your way up.

This I also called, I told you all this would happen, people told me I was, well people called me a lot of things and they still do.

But yet here we are.

What a lot of you good folks fail to realzie,
that pugging scene changes, this aint 1st week, the “climb your way up” is not working any more at the M0 level.

Yet there are people who are getting into mythic 2s and such. Those groups might not be popping off but they definitely exist.

Too little too late, people went hard on delves and got to 619 iLVL, all the fringe tanks went into delves instead, all the other tanks geared up and are done with low keys, now all the DPS who are trying to make a name for themselves have no one to play with.

Players asking Blizzard to make these changes only have themselves to thank for the lack of opportunities.
