Yeah I didn’t specify key levels, I just said tank damage in keys above a 10 is unacceptable. I could care less what people do in gearing keys (10s included because some people just want their vault and that’s fine). But expecting carries above that is unreasonable.

Why would anyone care about 4 randos? What you’re saying is if I’m tanking and I’m done with the key and the abandon vote doesn’t work I’m just going to say “oh, ok then. I’m going to try my best” (even tho the other 4 are carries). No, I’m going to leave and go play with my group, guild, friends list. I’ll never get the penalty cause I don’t leave often enough. So, again, why would I care about a bunch of randos?

I don’t expect people to carry me. I queue up thinking “I need gear upgrades”. As long as I don’t stand in the bad or get myself killed, there should still be seven minutes on that clock when we’re done.

Yeah but above a 10 is not a “gearing key”. Do that in 2-10s.
if you sign up for a 10, you’re probably carrying someone who should be doing eights. If you sign up for a 12, you’re probably carrying someone who should be doing a 10. If you sign up for a 15, you’re probably carrying someone who should be doing the 12.
Anytime you willingly put yourself in the position to sign up for something random you should expect something random

That’s not how that works like at all.
The forums in a nutshell 
brings out the worst in us.
And sometimes it’s not about the gear. Sometimes it’s about the achievements. Sometimes it’s about the mounts. Sometimes it’s just about proving that you want to do something bigger. Not everybody plays this game the same way.

Judging by these threads, I would say that’s exactly how it works.
I will say I generally don’t get rude unless someone’s rude to me first.
Which generally happens when I make a point people can’t refute.
Of course once someone mentions my family all bets are off.

Agreed. Tanks need a roughly 50-60% damage nerf. Give that damage to the healers instead, thanks for your attention to this matter.

These threads happen because when you join a key. Especially above a 10 you are expected to pull your own weight. No one is there to carry anyone.
