Here at Haven, we could be a fit for you! We are an adult oriented guild that considers each other family and just loves slaying pixels together. We laugh, poke fun at each other and get the job done all at the same time =P
We are 8/8H and only dabble in mythic at the end of a tier to kill time. We don’t go hard at it though, we are AOTC driven. Most of us have been playing together for years, some since BC days. We are long established and all just love playing together. We are a smaller guild to try and keep that tight knit atmosphere.
Raid times: Tues-Weds, 10pm-12am EST. We are looking to possibly add another 2 hours next tier (most likely Thurs), just to have 6 hours a week to progress at a decent pace.
Current needs: primarily dps, but open to another healer or two (that’s willing to dps during farm) for when we enter some mythic fun and for next tier progression. We are lacking the following: rogue, warrior, boomkin, shammy dps, dk dps, and a hunter.

Welcome back to the game! It sounds like our guild could be a great fit for what you’re seeking.
Elysium is an AotC/Heroic-focused guild that was formed in Cata and has raided consistently since then (some of us have been playing together even longer than that). We’ve cleared every raid on Heroic since we formed and are currently 7/8H EP. Similar to what you described, we found that when we started to dabble in Mythic it resulted in much more stress and much less fun, so we focus on Heroic now (plus things like running the Heroic Warfronts, timewalking raids, etc). While we expect people to do their part to pull their weight, people > progression.
We raid Wed/Thurs from 7-10pm PST (Hyjal is a West Coast server). Outside of that, our members enjoy Mythic+, battle pet collecting, achievements, and obsessing over transmog. We are a tight-knit group that all have lives outside the game (kids, jobs, etc), but also greatly value our in-game family.

Heya! Our heroic-only raid team is looking for more dps! We raid Tue/Wed 9-11 PM Eastern (6-8 PM PST). We are a chill group of adults who like to have a good time and kill some bosses.
We are incredibly active on off nights with m+ and other activities. Most nights there is a good group of folks hanging out in discord doing keys, playing alts, whatever we feel. ABOUT US: We are a semi-hardcore raiding/social guild on Thrall with a love for dark humor, sarcasm, gambling, and an overall good time. We value downing bosses on heroic and then progressing into mythic, all while having fun with close friends. Guild Goals: We are trying to create a positive environment for players of all skill levels. Currently, we are running a new Heroic Progession raid group, with plans to get heroic on farm and move onto some M raiding.
