There might be 1 or 2 that get a huge laugh when they shut em down for this stuff but I also tend to think they are probally more like us with the "really??? again.
Because ppl are at work/school at 7am PST on a Tuesday. If it was a business application yes you’d want to do it on the weekend or late/early hours. However it’s an entertainment app so it should be down during off-play hours. Surely, there are ppl that want to play at 7am on a Tuesday but they would be in the minority.

As a business person, you must realize that time zones exist…lol…
And as a business person you have to know that a 4am work time, SUX…and is heard on your employees. Are there people out there being made to do it every day? Yes, and I would wager MOST hate it, and I would definitely say the employer is HORRIBLE for having a schedule like that. Heck, a straight up grave shift would be better than that, lol
‘Tuesdays’ are a pretty generic day, and 7am is usually when most people would be getting ready for work, getting kids ready for school, or driving to work. There for, NOT TRYING TO PLAY A GAME, lol
It’s Tuesday maintenance…it’s not a big deal. Try finding something else you can do each Tuesday until it’s back up. If it’s your day off…then take a much earned/needed extended nap.

Where is it written that a patch has to be content? Class changes and game changes require more than a restart. There is content in the patches just not content as you think of it.
Everyone is pissed that Blizzard is finally listening to feedback and fixing things in a timely manner because “muh downtime!”.

Cheaper than California no doubt but coming from the north it’s a hell of a lot more expensive.
Maybe… Maybe not. If they kept it the same hours, it would be an hour earlier. Better but not ideal.

Moving to Texas isn’t going to solve any of the problems just like their moving to Cali from Washington years ago didn’t really solve anything.
They chose to go with the schedule they have set up and chances are as already mentioned, won’t change anytime in the near future if at all.
I say Texas because its central time, low Business cost and seems to be the place everyone is going for business… I mainly like the central time. You can literally get people in at 4am to start the maintenance at 5am central… That would be 3am West and 6am East… Perfect!
