Down for Maintenance

I feel this. I just re-subbed yesterday after a few years away. Trying to look on the bright side that this gives me time to figure out talent trees, rotation, etc. Also, little things like…what the heck is time walking.

Not sure how long you were out. But see the bright side - a lot of new things to try, discover.

It’s a give or take, sometimes it’s hours before the posted time, others it can be extended.

Its probably gonna be extended an hour ,

It will be ready when its ready. Why is everyone frothing at the mouth lol. you will be ok, i promise

Don’t forget the lime and tequila shot.

Im actually gonna go play classic and make 30 days more game time

3pst so I guess that means they’ll send me a tell at three to let me know it’s ready

3pm but dont forget we have at least 2-3 we need more times coming up so expect tomorrow

nope it’s a patch day.

people should really do themselves a favor and understand that they likely won’t play on a patch day.

I get that you want to.

But I think I gave up on patch days somewhere around the Ruby sanctum.
not that that one was memorable in its badness that’s just about the timeline that I remember.

I just did this, Haven’t play Classic since a few weeks before BC came out and it just looks weird to me. Even though I’ve been playing this game since 2006.

Old. It looks old. Because it is old. And we’ve had years to get used to updated character models and environments.

It is weird! I like looking at the npcs, some of them give the same quests they do today! Or they are located in different spots. It’s fun.

Ahh yes, helpful for when they inevitably extend it.

I think the added downtime is fantastic, it means I’m not missing out on the new patch eager beaver crowds while I’m at work.

I’m a little bothered by the all day down time. I recognize that they have stuff to do, but in the middle of the day feels like not an awesome time to cut service. I hope they did a bit of research to figure out when the minimum usage was, and then scheduled maintenance at that time.

patch day means cleaning the hamster cages, polishing their wheels, giving them a thorough brush, checking their water and food supply, etc…that stuff takes a looong time, I heard it takes like 100 interns at blizzard headquarters running around. If 1 calls in sick they can manage, but if 5-6 do not show up, they have to extend it.

It’s a tuesday. you should of known better!
