Doomhowl Friday Nov 7th Disconnect Deaths

Just a thread to share our DC deaths from Doomhowl. Big DC on the server killed at least 50+ people. Tragic stuff. I lost a 26 mage. Luckily I was already in the graveyard in Duskwood

I lost my character to the disconnect as well, I tried running back to ratchet and spammed heal potions but was still dead when I logged back in.

I was only lvl 14 because I died on my lvl 43 mage last night but I had also bought 30G worth of bags / enchanted boots / and just gold for the new character.

Would be super disappointed if blizzard didn’t restore characters as lots of people in my guild were affected.

I lost mine too, lvl 27 warrior. Just when I charged in combat the mass dc happens. Someone in my guild told me that it has happened 3 times today.

I hope blizzard restore this charactes. I think in my guild 5 or more died to the dc.

I also lost a 44 rogue. I was fighting a gray mob and was in no danger of dying. I can’t even tell what killed me.

i lost my 49 warrior in mara after the server lagged out i had just died at 58 5 days ago i need this to be resolved in the correct way

60 Warrior in BRD to Anub’iash, he walked out and then everyone collectively got kicked off the servers. They’d better res me I got raid in 5 hours.

Had multiple people in my guild die today due to the D/C. There has to be a rollback for this. there is no excuse and no reason to NOT rollback. Make it happen blizzard.

I lost my lvl 30 Warrior by the name of “Apostriel” from the guild “FrostBane”, that i leveld up to the disconnect as well, i was on STV with guildies trying to get some troll tusks for whirlwind axe questchain, enjoying the game like usual. And all of a sudden we get disconnected, after that, we get back onto the game, on different layers and with all mobs respawned, i died at that moment. This happened almost 4 hours ago, please i would appreciate if i/we could get the dead characters back. This was a server issue thats the only reason why im posting here. Thanks @Blizzard PD: Ireally loved this character and i´ve created lot of warm moments with the guild that welcomed me.

Blizzard responded to my ticket with a standard - “check your own internet for connectivity issues” response, so I would not hold your breath for a roll-back. GG gamers o7

I couldn’t even figure out how to submit a ticket that would get a response. Only a “bug” ticket submission would even do anything

Submitted a ticket as well lost a 19 Sham alt - they responded by stating unless it’s a DDOS attack they will not res characters. I knew I was dead tho while I was lagging had two mobs pulled. Some of you saying you don’t know how you died is strange. rip to those on their mains though.

I was fortunate enough to live, but I thought for sure I was dead after I dc’d in stockades.

a couple people in my guild died to this server crash though. there’s gotta be something done to restore the characters that died to this.

I hate when somebody just steals my fun. Blizzard is like Grinch, greedy, spiteful and at this point just evil. Two 60s in Strat UD on Ramstein. Even if I used petri flask or elune it wouldn’t make a difference because while I was still playing on my end, I was already disconnected on the server side. To those hoping for roll back or whatever…forget about it. Blizzard never did it because they get literally nothing out of it and the whole company is just a cash grab machine at this point. It’s been several years since we’ve entered a new age where merchant actually hates his customers. Well, not a single dollar from me Mr. Blizz o7

blizzard is so out of touch with their community. Since no big streamers died, no resurrections will go out in any sort of timely manner. They don’t care about us, and haven’t for a long time.

I just cant understand why everybody that died due to blizzards server fault/failure has to be punished. This isnt even close to justice and fair. When I joinned the hardcore game mode I know that a dc on MY END because of MY INTERNET, cant be reverted and that is ok, like someone said “it’s like your character had a heartattack”, but that wasnt what happend. It was a server failure and alot of players died due to the DC. Please blizzard do the right and just thing.
