Don't Use Raider IO, IL is enough

That’s fair. Thanks for the like I guess. Im not a super stickler all the time. I don’t like to take that risk all the time though

If you want to blow money like that i’ll take the chance once. Still a better metric than inflated ilvls. Bfa is like Venezuela

Full time job, married, 4 kids ages 11 10 4 and 1, sitting at 800 or so io atm. 1k+ last season.

Your argument has no grounds, and especially with some of the 395+ players I’ve played with that did less than 10k dps.

Ilvl is enough. That’s the biggest load of bullcrap I’ve ever heard. For what? Regular mythics?

I’ve seen 400s fail dungeon mechanics and wipe groups before. It’s so hilarious.

Idk man my raider. io score is 0 but +10’s are easy

Maybe thats cuz I PvP a lot tho so I’m used to playing against actual players and not auto-attacking NPC bots lol

Example:
“Why isn’t the add or boss juke casting? Oh yea cuz PvE is supposed to be predictable”

I like pvp as well. I’ve always felt love doing both pve/pvp is the only way to completely round yourself out. Having said that… if you’re doing 10 keys you have a score

If I’m doing any content that I care about the chance of me grouping with people that seem like they don’t care is slim to none. io is simple and effective when it comes down to it without requiring much effort from the user.

I couldn’t care any less than I currently do about the io system but its become a standard similar to linking your WCL profile in a guild application or your armory profile in a PvP LFG Discord. If there ever becomes a better method and that’s what people switch to then so be it. World of Logs was good but eventually got replaced by Warcraft Logs. Gearscore was alright while it was around.

Players get too infatuated with arbitrary numbers like DPS meters or arena rating and get blinded by it. They start thinking that someone is “good” for the wrong reasons.

Nobody cares if you were 3800 RBG rating in MoP if you die in the opener vs. BFA mut rogue or if you were in a top 50 US guild in WoTLK but for some reason can’t stop standing in volcanic and sanguine.

I get home from work around 4pm and I’ve got about an hour to do whatever I want to do before I need to do course work and then handle life commitments. I’m not interested in a 45 - 60 minute deplete run. Especially if that’s a week where I’ve fallen behind on emissary’s, or herb farming, work was bad and I’m just tired between keeping up with life commitments, raiding, and school on 3 hours of sleep. I don’t have time to sit there and wipe on heroic mekka all night.

What it comes down to is playing with people that have similar goals.

Raider.io is a system that makes that easier to do.

If you aren’t familiar with the mechanics of M+ I wouldn’t let you in either, regardless of iLvl.

This conversation is absurd.

It seems like people just want to be grped into +10-+15 bc they have a certain gear ilvl. It’s a bit ironic really - they want their gear score to be looked at but not a score relevant to experience actually running M+.

Do you know the general routes of every dungeon? Do you know how each tank or healer handles pulls/routes/kiting (no kiting) differently? Do you know when to save your CDs? Do you know what should or shouldn’t be interrupted? Can you dismiss your pet, at least?

Every week has diff’t affixes. Raider IO will let the grp leader know if you have running keys at that level with those affixes.

Gladiators in PvP aren’t going to grp with you because you have decent gear and run random BGs regulalry.

Just as Mythic Guilds aren’t going to recruit you because you have decent gear and run LFRs blindly.

M+ isn’t any different.

You’re 377ilvl and have 0 +10s of record.

Lamow.

You can read a whole library on how to make love, but until you get naked, and get down to business, all that knowledge is useless :stuck_out_tongue:

Clearly you arnt talking about your self having 391 ilvl though.

I mean I used to raid 3 3 hour nights and push and do heroics (now mythics) until I stopped at the end of Nighthold for a personal choice. From then until now I always get my max key for the week and sometimes then some. People like you have this false idea of those who do end game content or keys have no life and that’s entirely false.

You can easily create your own group or simply do a key or two a night and build your score. Let me ask this, why are there ranks in PvP? To see how good someone is. You aren’t going to invite someone of low rank. Raider io does literally the same thing.

There is also a lot of strats involved in dungeons too and with particular affixes too. So your ilvl May be fine but your knowledge is low. You can’t just simply go in with no clue.

io is just another in a long line of mods for kids and people who are no where near as good as they think 2 gate keep and pump there epeen its not needed

No, my friend had a 400 IL, doing top dps most of our raids on his shaman, but he wasn’t let in a +10 cause he didn’t have a high enough IO score

I was using that more as an example, not an actually thing.

It’s the best way to judge random strangers who queue for your keys.

I agree.

My IO probably sucks, I don’t know, but I can complete the dungeon/key. I do 10+ with my guild with ease because I’m over here paranoid some guy won’t trust me because my stupid score is “low” or whatever. Having a 3rd party plug-in/application being sorta mandatory is kinda balls.

Raider.io shows more than just a score. You can see what people have completed.
