Costing gold might have made sense in earlier expacs. But in today’s age of farmers, pay2win, super guild pacs etc. the gold price would have to be a percentage of your accounts total gold to even remotely approach an equitable solution.
There’s a reason why blizz keeps adding a dozen new currencies every expac now. The discrepancy between the haves and the have nots re gold is ludicrous now.
