We have a problem with Torghast is too easy for many players and too hard for others. I purpose we dial the dungeon to 11 on difficulty but give players who start dying invincibility stars like in Mario to get through if they start losing so they can still cross the finish line and get their prize for the run
Grr. Now I’m going to have that music from when you pick up those stars running through my head all morning. Thanks.
Bosses no longer heal upon death, so you get more than one shot at them.
Whether they reset that ticking buff that they get is a different question, but I would imagine that resets (since that’s what one shots most players eventually, not much point keeping it around after a reset).
Why stop there? Maybe after the 3rd wipe in anything an NPC can spawn and you can talk to them and just be teleported to the end with a pile of loot to choose from!
I haven’t even done torghast in forever, but I always find it funny that a paladin always shows up in these threads with a “what, it’s not hard you’re just bad.” Attitude.
@Sarama or they hold your hand and fight the boss with you! Ion said people were quitting over Torghast being too hard for them hence the nerf. I would rather those players get extra buffs than have to suffer through mandatory content set to easy mode myself
Considering that there’s a lot of different levels of difficulty in TG people saying it’s too hard must be unable to finish layer 1 to need nerfs, right?
What’s the difference
A power buff would make it easy mode and the boss just falling over dead would be easy mode.
Heck…if it’s going to be the same reward either way, we might as well not do it. They can just send us the loot in the mail. The easiest mode in the game
Why do I have to go all the way to the mailbox for it?
Never ever say this, because Blizzard hates it!
@Nikolo the difference is you only get the buff if you are losing so the high skilled players won’t get the invincibility buff. It’s how Nintendo can go ham with their difficulty in kid-focused game
