facts i noticed the same exact thing
Another big thing is just how poorly designed frost is for the meta in PVP. The crit rate change was so bad for it and it barely received anything and even got a compensatory nerf on pillar with the last round of small buffs.
Just makes you wonder if the teams talk to each other at all.
I mean to fix obliterate sorta. make ALL obliterates deal 20% of their damage as frost. Mastery scaling!
Frostreaper makes this so that any obliterate crit is doing the damage as 100% frost. So the talent merely improves how much mastery scaling it has. without being like⦠overboard.
I feel like you could even go to 50% damage on the base oblit and then tune around that. The difference right now between the full frost crit and non frost crit is so massive.
I do like the idea of split damage though for normal hits.
probably? I mainly said 20% because it was a number that blizzard had proposed before⦠I donāt remember quite when, Legion I think?
For sure, it definitely canāt stay as is though. Having no damage out of cds just feels awful in the current game.
Entirely agree. I miss the days when DK of whatever spec had brutal sustain. That you could cling to something and make them feel pain right from the start.
DKs were a bully class, theyād be brawling bruisers that if they targeted you, you started sweating.
Yea now they are just melee arcane mage with just as much damage loss if disrupted during burst.
I played with a frost DK the other day that was doing 300-500k dps on every other pull⦠It seemed really strong.
You can do that every pull on other classes, the dk has to put in 3 times the work as well. Frost is objectively one of the worst m+ specs in the game right now according to the data Iāve seen.
Also most of the complaints are not about power but about playstyle, exactly like how ret paladin was. Ret actually did fine damage pre rework but it just was awful to play in terms of fun.
