This is about auriaya, a boss in ulduar, shrieking after she’s defeated (well, killed). Any chance blizz can change/remove her awful shriek she made when she’s defeated? It’s been bothering me for a while.
That sound isn’t exactly pleasant to hear and can cause misunderstandings if heard by others or in public places like a cafe or library.
I know chances are low that blizz will look at this but in the off-chance you do, can you please have a look?
have you tried turning in-game sounds off for a short few seconds just before you kill her, so you DON’T hear her shriek?
but on a side note, i’m not happy, that they muffled the sound of the mekgineer’s chopper/mechano hog, let alone the champion’s treadblade/warlord’s deathwheel. i mean, they’re SUPPOSE to be somewhat loud, cause they’re motorcycles.
but what’s annoying to me, is people spamming the Algalon event in Northrend-Dalaran…every 30 seconds. <.<
(i’m honestly surprised that hasn’t been removed already.)
Sorry, sounds like you get ‘triggered’ easily. It’s a small moment of sound from one boss. I have a button on my keyboard that mutes my sound quite easily, and conveniently, unmutes it when pressed again.
Not saying I play in a library, just saying if. That was a poor scenario.
Ok, let me change the scenario (just a scenario, not a real case):
I play in my room and there are guests in my house. My volume is small enough that only I and people right outside my room can hear (people in other rooms can’t hear). Someone passed my room to go toilet (say they didn’t know where the toilet was and got lost), was gonna knock my door to ask me where the toilet was, then heard that shriek. What do you think they’ll think?
same here. dunno what it is, but i feel compelled to /lol every time i killed her. xP
that’s something i haven’t done in ages now…i kinda gave up with Ulduar and ICC, due to the fights bugging out on me…that and getting the exact same loot, week after week is a bit disencouraging to say the least.
Then turn your volume down lol. Blizzard is not going to change their game files just in case someone happens to be playing in a public space with out headphones lol
If you’re playing with sound on in a public place (or watching a video/listening to music/etc) , I wouldn’t think any less of you from hearing a woman screaming…because I already think of you in the lowest way imaginable. Seriously, put some headphones on.
Did I say I played in public? No. It was just an IF. I was just worried what people who don’t play WoW might think if they heard that voice. Could be in public (unlikely) or could be in my next possible scenario (check my post about a guest overheard it outside my room). I admit, it was a poor scenario, but wow, can’t believe that’s what people focuses on. Wow.
